Since August the request for an increase in troops has been on the table, since then ONO has stood up time and time again and said he wasn't going to be rushed. He ignores his military people, who have experience in this art of fighting a war and who are on the ground there and know what they need. Right or wrong, ONO should be responding to their needs far quicker than this. Another article points out that ONO goes to play golf, has played already more golf than Bush did in 2 terms. It points out that maybe he should take one of these 4-5 hour outings and schedule another meeting to resolve the troop issue.

As pointed out, ONO has still failed to accomplish anything, to resolve any of the problems he harped on during the campaign. Instead he is focused on creating another problem by a dramatic change in our health care system. To model it after other systems that do not and have been proven to not work effectively.

In the mean time, little pieces of legislation are being passed, new little rules and regulations are causing changes. One of which is the coal mining changes. It is now more difficult here in WV to get coal out of the ground, some jobs have and more will be lost as a result of this subtle clean air rule change. The czar's are filtering out and slowly spreading ONO's and other liberal ideas and plans under the cover of health care wars being waged.

10-23-09 One small tid bit to ramble about. Saw where the DIM's were caught up in saying no they do not want to put on line the health care proposal for the public to read. Makes you think back to the so called promise made months ago when ONO said they would put things on line to be read at least 48 hours in advance of the voting. Anyway, they do not and have not put anything on line so far that I know of to be read. It is a known fact that nobody read the stimulus bill before it was passed and there is no doubt that they have not read the health care one either. One reason for that is there are dozens of these health care bills floating around. Who in the world could possibly know what they all say as they have been created in little groups behind locked doors. Only when they are done do they open the door and throw out the bill, with so many plans who is going to assemble this all into one bill? And, if they do, what in the world will it actually contain. We'll get into a situation where they will tell you that they voted in favor of it and supported it until they decided they had to oppose it. AKA Kerryitis....

We sit and wait and wonder, all the while the economy which had it been left to recover on its own would be well on its way back. The stimulus package and the threat of so many changes by ONO and his czar's and liberal dims is holding the recovery hostage. We need to stop this nonsense and let the economy work its way back to normal.

10-21-09 OK, what do we got here? We have ONO who has been in office now for awhile and his biggest accomplishment so far is blaming Bush for the problems with the economy. Alright then, so, ONO, how long does it take before your stimulus package works? When will we actually see you accomplish anything of value. I know your working on letting gays marry, allowing gays to serve in the military, supporting free abortion legislation and that you are at war with FOX news trying to censor them because they don't report what you want them to report. But there are some issues that actually need your attention. One might be the Afghan troop decision. All you have done on this is censor one of your top generals who came out and said we needed to have more troops and need them quickly, but, your not ready so you told him to be quiet while you decide.

I'm stumped, what has ONO done exactly?

The majority of the people realize this, even with ONO's press corps reporting what he tells them to say, people see that nothing is getting better, in fact, it has gotten worse because of all the spending. And, ONO wants to throw more money into the national debt pit for a second stimulus and put the health care issue in action despite the enormous costs and the fact that it is a plan that is destined to fail.

We need the next election to come soon, get a few more people in office that at least think before they vote.

10-19-09 It seems that the balloon adventure was nothing more than someone with a super big ego looking for a way to become famous, and to make money in the process. The desire to be famous, vanity, the favorite sin. Ahh, seems to me that this can be compared to our commander in thief ONO. Stand before the crowds and look good and promise any and everything to make them roar when you promise their every wish will come true.

I've seen several lists of what ONO has accomplished, and the list has no entries. He has blamed Bush for all the problems and has yet to come up with a single solution to all these problems. Which includes his recent trip to New Orleans's. Now you have the ball there ONO so why aren't you solving New Orleans's problems? Oh, well, only 9 months so guess you need some more time.

10-16-09 Haven't had much to say past few days, news is rocking back and forth with nothing concrete to grab a hold of. We see the continued efforts by ONO to silence FOX News and anyone who disagrees with him and we see little blurbs about certain proposals and ideas on the health care issue. I also did note a change in wording to a commercial on TV. Few will note this little change, but the change is significant, here goes..

AARP offers a supplemental health insurance policy to cover some of what Medicare won't cover. Now I am positive I am right on this as I have seen this commercial many times before. They talk about how it will help cover the charges that Medicare won't pay, how wise you are to get it, etc... Then, the change. At the end they say that this supplemental insurance will pay to physicians who accept Medicare payments. That was not there before! It has been that way all along though and I agree that you need a supplemental insurance, but that they will only pay to physicians who accept Medicare payment is new wording added to the end of the advertisement.

Why is this a big issue? Because they see that things could change depending on what the DIM idiots finally come up with and they realize that many physicians will drop accepting Medicare or Medicaid payments. Already 20 some percent don't accept it, you drop the amount they will pay by an additional 20% and that number will grow. That is why the disclaimer has been added to the advertisement.

10-12-09 It is a total surprise that ONO did not win the nobel prize for economics. After all, he was awarded the peace prize for weakening the US stature in the world to appease the left, and he is doing a far better job at weakening the US economy and should be awarded the economics award also. Just doesn't make sense!

The DIM's are in full swing, with numerous versions of the health care bill, some hiding little features such as automatic coverage for illegal's, and other hidden little tid bits that will secretly implement their plan in time. It is difficult to pin it all down, there are so many versions out there that nobody has read the whole thing except the key DIM leaders behind closed doors.

While all this is going on, they are seriously thinking about pulling out of Afgan. Bush failed to keep his eye on the ball on that one that is for sure. The quick victory there led to over confidence and now with a corrupt Afgan government to deal with things have gone south and fast. We'll have another Vietnam here with the DIM's in charge.

But, not all is lost, they are pushing for allowing gays to serve in the military and to be married. I just wonder if they will allow a gay enlisted person to marry a gay officer, right now that is not legal for normal people, but maybe since they are special folks that should be an exception also.

10-9-09 And, congratulations are in order for ONO who won the Nobel Peace Prize. Upon seeing this I thought for a moment and could only come up with "FOR WHAT?" What has he done for world peace? Then I thought, OK, he has gone to some places and apologized to any and everyone who has a grudge against the US for any reason. He has gone to places and spoke of a united world where all are equal and at peace. So, there you go folks, that is how you win that prize. To qualify you must be a prominent person such as ONO being the president. Then you just have to go and say that you think the world should be at peace. And, there you have it, you don't have to have done anything, just be in a position to do so.

Well, lets make a suggestion here, one that I am sure ONO will jump at once his staff sees my post here and brings it to his attention. ONO, you just got a big sized hunk of change for your prize win. Lets pay your taxes, and pay them at the upcoming rate, not the current rate. Now, the money you have left over, lets see you funnel it into your home city of Chicago. Put it to use helping the neighborhoods that are black and in trouble, perhaps in the community where you were their big leader awhile back, or perhaps in the neighborhood where that honor student was stomped to death last week, or is it the same one? Doesn't matter, just put your money that you won to work for peace in your home town.

I never really thought much about or followed this Nobel prize stuff, but tell you what, this sure down grades it in my opinion. I always thought it was for people who discovered things, from research, new things that will help the world. And, with the peace prize I thought it was for people who went out and worked in conditions that are not favorable to improve things for the world. I don't like ONO, there is no doubt about that, but you have to ask yourself one question here. What did he do to win this prize?

10-8-09 Governor "I'll Be Back" will soon be "I'm Gone" and it won't come soon enough for the State of CA. Although the State has a DIM government so little hope actually remains that it will recover from being a "Basket State". What irks me though is Swartz's endorsement of ONO care. Depending on what you read, he was asked by ONO to endorse it, to try and lend credibility with a Republican governor endorsing the plan in this late stage of negotiations. Well, you need to have someone with credibility to endorse things and Swartz doesn't have that.

ONO's promise of "Hope and Change" is simply "I Hope This Change Works"... Pulling out any and all stops to pass health care while there are now more pressing issues beginning to surface. The economy is not in good shape, the stimulus package, wherever that went was ill conceived and it is not working. Instead of trying to force a health care plan that will increase the economic problem further, it should be dropped, put in committee to discuss a partial improvement in the health care process such as prescription assistance for everyone.

In the mean time, the necessary decision on the war is being ignored and delayed way longer than it should be. We are short handed over there, the initial success has changed, it is called a "counter attack" and should have been expected. The correct answer to fight the counter attack is to put more troops in and regain control. Why ONO is ignoring, and now muzzling his military leaders makes you question once again his ability to lead. We loose lives when we delay decisions regarding military matters.

10-7-09 I read an article that mirror's what I have said here in my rant's before. Regarding the fact that not all physician's at this time take Medicare or Medicaid patients. The article goes on to state that one of the ways that ONO plans to fund the new program giving insurance to everyone is to reduce the payments to physician's, hospital's and drug companies. The amount they intend to reduce the payment by is 21% according to what I read. So, ONO will put another Czar or some panel he selects who will basically reduce what is paid for a procedure or drug.

In the past, the US in its attempts to do this sort of thing, from way back during Nixon's days, is to negotiate in one way. They will say, we will pay this much for this procedure or drug. That is it. So, what has happened in the past is that the doctor or the hospital has only one choice. Either stop doing that procedure or loose money doing it.

In the case of drug companies, faced with the ultimatum they will simply withdraw the drug from the mandated program. This is something they have done before under these circumstances.

What we have at this point is a significant change in health care as we have known it. Physicians will opt out of the program and concentrate their efforts on private insurance patient's. Over 20% of physicians do that now. Drug companies simply do the same thing. That drug is not in the program, so if you want it, you have to pay full price for it.

As with anything in this world, in my simple way of looking at things, supply and demand are the key factor's to solving most of our current problems. For example. When CAT scans were first introduced, you played hell getting any form of insurance to pay for them. Now they are becoming routine. Same with new drugs and other new procedures, when they first are developed they are considered new and normally not covered, only to be covered later.

In an attempt to pay for the health care program it is in my opinion not a wise thing to try and pay for the program by reducing the income of the provider's by 20 some percent. Their reaction is not going to be positive to this.

ONO had a meeting at the white house, attended by physician's who are in support of his program. Yes, he gathered together a group of left wing physicians who follow his liberal views and provided them with white coats to wear during the photo opportunity. Well, I can tell you one thing for certain, the physicians that attended this meeting are NOT and I repeat, are NOT representing the majority of doctor's. Like all politician's, ONO arranged a show to try to pass his agenda.

Soon the decision will be made, I hope some significant and serious compromises are made. As I have said many times in here, if we are going to change the program, it should be in steps, not the whole thing at one time. We need to walk before we run, make a partial change and see how it goes, work out the bugs, then expand later as needed. 10-5-09 A couple little things that mean something, or do they?

David Letterman has affairs with staffers and tells jokes about it, it is laughed off and I guess that means it is acceptable and OK. Not to long ago A radio host uses a derogatory word in describing a soccer team and loses his job. And what is the difference? Well, actual sex vs a single word and perhaps who you are with regard to your party affiliation. After all, Letterman grilled McCain live during the election, made every attempt that he could to discredit him before, during and after his appearance on the show. A party loyalist, he'll get away with it with no more than sympathy for having been caught.

The president's wife stated that her visit to promote the Olympics for Chicago was a great sacrifice that she was willing to make. Huh?

10-3-09 Well, that didn't take long for the Olympic committee to decide that ONO and his herd promoting Chicago for the site of the Olympics is a bunch of phoney!

The State of ILLINOIS spent in excess of 48 million dollars to try and be selected, add to this several million for the promotional tour by ONO and his wife. All in all, money well spent...

I read the headline on this "The EGO has landed"... Are you getting the point here?

Other countries are far advanced in their ability to see that ONO is a complete and total failure. His ability to sell his ideas and get people to follow him is fading. And why might that be? Simply stated, because he has yet to accomplish anything and is a complete dud. More later....

I'll add a little note here, I was going to put on here that no way would they vote for Chicago and that his going over there would actually be the reason they did not select Chicago. I did make the prediction that Chicago would not win in a e-mail group I am in... Other countries see what we can not, time to wise up folks...

10-01-09 Things that go unreported and ignored. I sometimes wonder why people do what they do, I truly do, as it simply makes no sense. A proposal by a Republican while debating one of the health care proposals, suggested that a photo ID card must be used by those accepting free health care, to simply prove who they were and to make sure they are properly registered. I do believe that this suggestion was made to help eliminate illegal's from claiming benefits by requiring that each participant have a valid ID. Well, to me that simply makes sense, why would there be an issue with registering and making a photo ID to prove you are who you are. But, as usual, a DIM protest rose up and this was shoved away as biased, invasive and unnecessary. So, in that particular proposal, if it were to pass, no photo ID will be required, you simply say who you are and don't have to prove it I guess. Naturally this is ignored by the main stream press, because it is outrageous, the press would not want to report this and make a fool out of their favorite party...

Also a report is out where they have caught federal works, hundreds of them spending most of their time watching porn while at work, in chat rooms talking dirty, etc... Will anyone be fired? Did you even know about it? Funny how that hasn't been reported. Hey, this is a non political issue, I don't care what party you are for, you should be outraged at this one.

While that and the mismanaged wars, the economy that is not recovering, GM problems, acorn problems, czar problems, mismanaged funds, and the health care issue, swine flu, earth quakes and other issues are all going on. What does our wonderful leader decide to do? He has sent his wife and he will soon join her for a more important issue they must deal with and that is bringing the Olympics to Chicago. To the tune of several million dollars to fly her over first, followed by him and the 2 spare planes, staff, secret service and all that so we can possibly have the Olympics in one of the most crime infested cities in the world. Well, that is getting a lot of main street news coverage, how great it is for him to do this for our country. Will holding the Olympics help you or I?
