This is the last day of March 09, remember this date. In 6 months or a year from now you will note an increase in everything from the cost of food, all forms of taxes, utility costs, local and state taxes, fee's you pay for everything. It is all going to go up. The cost of recreation will as well, absolutely everything is on its way up now as the economy tries to keep pace with the increase in spending and entitlement give away increases promoted by ONO and his clowns. Tax revinue will decrease as people with money will choose to no longer pay taxes, it will be better for them to simply put their money away and let it sit idle.. Mark this date down...
3-29-09 People can say what they like about how the US is perceived in this world. But, the liberal do goody people who think that it is important that we are "liked" by other countries have it all wrong. Despite all the negatives that the press publishes from other countries, the world looks at the US for leadership and strength. Economic and militarily the US must remain on top or our way of life will change. You can not show weakness or confusion for a very long period of time and expect others to respect you anymore.
The ONO administration is off to a bad start, the economic stimulus plan to spend and spend more is not being well received by other countries. They, like me, believe it is the wrong approach. As a result, they see this as a weakness in leadership, and rightfully so... And, ONO is to be tested, already underway and it isn't looking good as he is ignoring what is happening, promising to talk to them about it at a later date. Well, to be President you have to multi task and the security of the US should be on the top of the list. Russia alluding to stationing bombers in Cuba going unanswered by ONO would not have happened under Bush, McCain or many others. This show of weakness and lack of a response is not going to serve us well down the road. If they place bombers in Cuba, it will be forever trying to get them out of there, and Iran and others have plans, Russia is making its move, China is making its move and we are going to be weaker as a result of ONO and his inexperience.
3-27-09 ONO continues his plan to implement things and make changes that if the general public was aware, would be outraged... But, if you rely on the main stream news, you have no clue that these things are underway. One day you will wake up and find that a new resident in town is one of the "non violent" detainee's from Cuba that ONO has set up on welfare in your neighborhood, or, that they are the newly nationalized formerly illegal alien's that ONO has made a US citizen, provided welfare and social security benefits, and, the right to vote (for ONO of course), provided they promised to learn english. You think I'm kidding? Your missing the boat, NBC won't report this, but it is seriously being considered. You better make the drudgereport.com and newsmax.com part of your daily reading routine.
3-25-09 Last night ONO did his thing once again to remain on TV and in the news, understand he even used a teleprompter as usual, but, was very awkward and failed to answer reporter's questions. Man can't function unless he has it written down so he can read it...
Glancing at the drudge report this morning, I see articles where new home sales are up, and durable goods orders are up, boy that stimulus package was quick... NOT! As I have said all along, the economy will rebound itself, now all we have to worry about it rebounding from the stimulus package... Also noted that that ONO administration was looking for "new" tax revenues and that the campaign promise of "rebates" was probably off the table... Hmmm, go figure.. Also that ONO tried to defend his slow reponse to the AIG situation and his elimination of tax breaks on charitable giving, but, that he was "heartbroken" over the homeless who would suffer as a result... The man is a contridiction... Last but not least, the EU and banks in England and over there are pointing out that we've run out of money, that the stimulus package plan reaks of troubles down the road... No surprise here, you can't spend money you do not have. Plus, a half dozen other under the radar issues that are in the works. I for one can not understand how my state's senators Byrd and Rockerfeller voted for and endorsed ONO knowing full well that his EPA policy was anti coal, which is in the news today as they have stopped issuing permits, well, that will only drive up utility costs and cost 25,000 jobs....
3-22-09 You can judge the "metal" and character of a President by watching the reaction of the military troops toward their Commander In Chief. I say that because these men and women who chose to serve their country are in my opinion the most dedicated to the ideas on what the US represents and how this country was built and continues to survive. You hear the words over and over again about how they sacrifice, well, that is true, the military is the only profession where someone volunteers to put their life on the line to serve their country. Should you notice or listen to what they have to say? You betcha! Should you pay attention to how they react and pay attention to how they are being treated by their duly elected CIC? You BETCHA!
True to form, the liberal DIM's when in office or with the majority of the vote, immediately begin to chip away at any and everything military. Their concept of if you give the other people enough money they will leave us alone, we are seen as bullies in the world, we should be kinder, turn the other cheek, not once but as many times as necessary. Well, that may sound good in principal but I have never seen where that has ever worked since the beginning of time.
ONO has a resume of nothing, he is an empty suit who simply reads what is written before him that promises whatever to the people listening that particular day. He says what they want to hear and promises what they want to hear no matter where he is talking. Then, when it is not delivered, he successfully blames it on others who are preventing him from keeping his promise to them. Perfect! Can't ever loose doing that.
It saddens me to see the beginnings of change backwards for the military that ONO is working behind the scenes now. He will with his policies weaken them as other DIM's in power have done before and we will suffer yet another shock down the road. A 911, perhaps, but who knows until it happens, and some how, once again, as they did when 911 happened, they will escape blame, blame others for their mis-deeds. They blamed Bush, who had not been in office all that long for 911, when in fact, well, you know.... Same will happen again, unless the press begins to report what is happening, unless people wake up and get this clown out of office.
3-18-09 An article in the Washington Post stated that ONO's inability to stop AIG bonuses has dealth a sharp blow to his public and congressional support. BOY I HOPE SO!!!
And I was actually shocked when I read where he was considering charging wounded vets for their treatment... I had expected and have been seeing where he is starting to cut the military as all DIM's do but this one was a shock!
Despite everything, ONO has his list and he is checking it twice and checking off things as he proceeds to try to eliminate guns, sensor anyone who speaks up against him, tax from the rich and give to the poor, cripple the military and cripple the economy in the process.
When will the congress, the press, the people realize that everything he said in the election was on the teleprompter and everything he said doesn't mean a thing as evidenced by his actions while in office.
While this is going on, ONO is throwing a couple St. Pat parties. No Bulls game for him to fly in air force one to see...
3-17-09 No credibility what so ever. This man is inept, worse than expected... You can't believe a thing he says, people, we are in trouble with this guy... He now has stated after his sky is falling routine has worn thin, that, the US economy is sound. Well, we knew that, and it is sound now all of a sudden, prior to his stimulus package being implemented..
Like I said yesterday, somebody evidently grabbed his arm and pointed out that his spending spree is not going well with the public and he is off on another direction to please today's poll numbers...
The list of lies grows by the day, no lobbyists, no earmarks, no tax on health care costs, bipartisan cooperation, etc... The promises are dropping off the tree like over due apples that were not picked...
Now we begin to see how ineffective he is and will be. His bold statement that he will hold accountable those using the tax payers money. Well, first out of the chute was the 8,000 plus pet projects he allowed, now we apparently have A.I.G. that may very well ignore his new found outrage over providing multiple bonus pay outs... He is caught in a spot on this one, he has promised them things both ways, now which way will they go? We'll see in a few days. But, if you were AIG, would you do as he says when he has allowed so much excessive spending himself? Lead by example, do as I say, not as I do...
3-16-09 Where to start? WOW! First ONO has realized, probably from another poll, or he is just reading it from his teleprompter, that his numbers are down. People are beginning to realize that he has spent 3.6 trillion in less than 50 days while Bush spent 4 trillion in 8 years. People are noticing.... So, the blame game begins. He states that he inherited this economic mess. Why by gosh you are correct there ONO! It hit the fan just before you took office, the dummied down legislation requiring banks to lend to less qualified applicants took its toll finally... And since the senate signed off on the several pieces of legislation that allowed, condoned and encouraged these lending practices, well buddy, your name is on the who to blame list too... But, since you don't have mirror's around, you won't see that.
Do the math, will require two calculators, he has advocated spending more money than we will have available for the next 5-8 years. And, he isn't done...
Get ready for the immigration changes, and the welfare and entitlement programs. We know they are coming, it has to, it is the DIM's core voting base that they must shore up. Over 50% of those who voted for ONO are receiving something from the government. OK, maybe not 50% but it is way up there. The DIM's must provide programs that give free money, services or whatever to their people to insure their vote. The immigration proposals to include citizenship and benefits to all that wish to come here is not going to be a pretty picture.
3-15-09 I made a comment in my high school group that I belong to a few days ago and it referenced a couple articles about specific abuse that is occurring now under the Dim's new found majority. The 25 million of stimulus money to build the Ted the head Kennedy place up in MA and miss nancy's abuse of the military aircraft for her personal use. I got a reply from one lady that was of no surprise, she is a Dim and it is obvious that she is "dim" and has the view that "Hope, Change, We Can Do It, Yes We can" and all that campaign hype remains today despite the obvious moves ONO is making and has made in the past 50 days.
It is obvious that she has hope, hell we all have, I would be pleased if someone took the office and had the answers to our current problems, but, got news for you, it ain't ONO...!
She stated that her family was OK, and that we should give him a chance. Well good for you, but have you been looking? Have you noticed that he is spending money we won't have for the next 5-8 years? That he has passed a bill that nobody read, disregards his promises to rein in spending he made when you voted for him, that he simply, absolutely, clearly and any other word you want to put in here seems to have no plan except to spend, spend and spend?
You can't do that, what does it take to make someone understand that you can't spend money you don't have? DUH! Crimeny sakes, she and some others just don't get it...
ONO's poll numbers are beginning to fade and it comes as no surprise to me or anyone else who has been paying attention.
The socialist agenda that he promised to implement is to costly, not what working people want, will jeopardize the economy and future generations of our country and create a weakness that will be exploited by some terrorist group as soon as they see an opening. All the socialist ideas this lady aspires to will result in her loosing the "our family is OK" comment.
What I don't understand about people like her is, she has what she has because they worked to earn it. They have it made, they have done well, they reached their American dream. So, since they got it made, they want their family to have it made and while your at it let everyone else have it nice too... Well, she has forgotten one thing. They worked for it... Over 50% of those voting for ONO don't want to work for it! Don't you realize that? They want it given to them... We can't afford to give all those who will not work everything they want... So, give them yours, I'm going down fighting...
I suppose this is what we would refer to as the condition of DIM-Mentia.
3-14-09 Switzerland is going to be the corporate hub of the world one of these days. With their lower corporate tax rates it is a fast growing trend right now as the upcoming tax increase imposed by ONO is making them look very attractive. What will a business do if you increase their tax? Why they will either go out of business or they will try to find some place to operate where the tax is lower. The US already had the highest corporate tax in the world, raising it doesn't make sense. I read where a former farming community over there is now sporting several corporate headquarters and construction is booming, they didn't say who was building, we'll find that out later. Would be interesting to see IBM or EXXON based in Switzerland huh?
ONO's non stop promises to fix everything all at once with more money is drawing attention, not only from me and my previous comments below but from the world. I am not alone in saying that you can't fix everything all at once and you can't fix everything by making more money and simply spending what you don't have. And, he remains amusing when he speaks about accountability. Where he will cut them off or take them to task if they spend the money improperly. Does this include the 8,000 plus pork projects? Will he hold them to task? Well, on the news here locally last night they announced what the police departments in the area were spending their share on. They are buying software. Which they need it seems, but, where is the job creation part of their spending a hundred grand? Must be the person who wrote the law enforcement program they all want to purchase.
Today, some 50 plus days after the messiah won the election we still wait for a miracle, or rather those who voted for him wait for it, I know it isn't coming..
I take heart that ONO is talking some on the positive side, it is double talk but at least the market has settled some, seems that before his big spending plan goes into effect some of the banks are making money, returning money (he'll pass it out to someone else). All along I have felt the economy would recover on its own, it always has, now we have to deal with his spending and recover from that as well. The road is getting longer and longer to recovery.
I'm telling you, if the press would stop the 24/7 doom and gloom crap, things would calm down and a recovery would begin.
3-11-09 I have been occupied with family issues with the severe illness of my father in law, and I realize that my audience reading this page is not exactly in the hundreds. With that said, some comments for today.
Double talk. ONO is the master at it, when will congress realize this and put an end to this out of control spending? He shoves forth yet another spending plan to solve another problem and then immediately says that he will put in place controls to control spending. Not just once but several times has he said this, on every proposal, yet when presented with ear marks and pork, he sluffs it off as though it doesn't exist. To be dealt with on another day.
For those old enough, you will recall years back a book published called "The Peter Principal", this is where a person in a position of authority is continually promoted until he winds up in a position of authority that he is not qualified to perform. Usually this person is promoted and placed in this position based upon human factors such as appearance, poise, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with ability to perform the job. Such is the case with ONO, after 50 days in office he continues to ride the wave of popularity, the mandate as he calls it, where he feels that the power of the people who elected him in what he considers a land slide empowers him to throw one ill thought out idea after another to do the work for the people. He is fulfilling as many promises as he can, with no regard to the consequences that they will bring. This has got to stop...
I read and saw a report on a tent city in the CA area, where people were living in tents now whom had lost their jobs and homes. They did several interviews and they were about the same with the man they were talking to saying that he was living there and spending his day traveling to and from job interviews seeking a new job. One guy said he had weekend work and hoped it would turn into a full time position later. This tent city in CA was comprised of white people. They were not standing outside holding up signs that said "Help!" on them while chanting Help, Help, Help. After reading this article, I read where ONO was allocating an additional 448 million for New Orlean's.... My advice to those in the tent city in CA, move to New Orlean's...
When questioned the other day about taking on to many things all at once. ONO reverted back to thinking he was Abe again, stating that Abe had passed legislation for several things while presiding over the civil war. Multi tasking I guess he means, yet, not a single thing Abe did that he referenced had an impact on the economy. ONO's logic is cloudy, he is so full of EGO that he doesn't make sense except to himself and the adoring press who feasts on his every word. What I hope for is judgement day, where some members of the press will finally realize what they have done and feast on ONO.. It will happen, he is screwing up so many things that the pressure is growing. I'll have a big smile on my face when judgement day arrives. 50 days down, how many will it take?
3-6-09 And it continues, what an idiot, ONO continues to scream doom and gloom and creates an atmosphere of fear and panic rather than trying to create calm and hope. And, as a result, trillion's of dollars has been lost on the stock market as people run in fear for their lives after hearing chicken little scream once again that the sky is falling. ONO's approach to this problem may ultimately be correct, in that spending a large amount of money will create a number of jobs simply by default, but it is ill timed and should be more specific to creating jobs rather than funding favorite projects. This plus the ever increasing agenda of things he intends to fix is proof that this man is not experienced and should be reigned in before he totally trashes our economy. You can fix things, however you can't fix them all at the same time and continue to ignore half the people all the time who say, hold on, wait a minute, you are spending to much, in the wrong places...
I'll be glad when this pied piper phenom wears off, just because ONO says something doesn't mean you have to do it, it is becomming clear that he doesn't know the correct direction and is not listening.... Hurry, somebody, find that birth certificate from Kenya!
3-5-09 ONO vowed during his campaign to cut wasteful spending, he promised to go line by line to eliminate all the waste. However, when asked about the 8,000 plus earmarks in the bill he signed his response was "that is last years business".
The AFL-CIO, who has received billions to keep them afloat are currently holding their convention to pow wow and deal with the economic problems. Their solutions so far have been recommendations to nationalize the banks and to provide all the money necessary to keep the auto companies afloat, plus no doubt many behind the door recommendations that might just favor their desires. And, they carry some weight with ONO and his clowns, VP Biden is attending the convention. And, before I forget, the convention is in Miami, at a Luxury hotel to the tune of $1,000 per day per person for their room. Leading by example, I think they will be very effective with their recommendations and methods, after all they have been so successful in running their operations.
Wonder why the administration hasn't pointed out that our tax payer money is funding their lavish convention? Oh, never mind...
Did I note, just a wee bit of optimism yesterday in the news? I sure hope so, you preach doom and gloom all the time for the lead story and people will react accordingly, lets be more positive and things will begin to turn around. Many aspects of business have, they are simply poised to get back on track but being prevented by ONO and his chicken little campaign act. He needs to make the sky fall so he can shove in his sociolist agenda, we need to wise up people.
3-3-09 I'll reserve any comments on the stock market's reaction to the ONO crises. We suspected it would be nasty and it appears to be the case.
I read where ONO has proposed to the USSR that in exchange for their cooperation on the reactor issue in Iran that we will re-consider our missile shield idea. Well, I do know one thing for sure on this, it wasn't ONO's idea, someone he has in his group has a bit of sense, hopefully they will be identified soon and used in the future for other decisions by ONO, perhaps on how to address the economy... Anyway, I have always felt that putting a missile shield, basically along the Russian border is not much different than what we had with the Cuban missile crisis. Who can blame them for objecting? I think the original idea was sound but got a bit carried away when other new NATO countries wanted a piece of the American pie in the form of missile's on their soil. We already have a shield in place in most of our allies's countries, if it works, then it is partially in place. Sometimes things change, your enemy changes, and this is a welcome change to make. I don't think we have to fear Russia right now, Iran however is a different issue.
