I'll end this month and try to be optimistic and hope that common sense begins to show itself again and that the lawmakers take the time to reflect on what they are doing to our country.
I have read many articles and messages that say we need to completely clean house. And I certainly agree. We need to kick them all out and start over again and put term limits in place so that we can avoid some of the problems we are having today.
I'll be in several other states, it will be interesting to see and hear what they have to say.
6-25-09 What is the biggest issue that concerns me about the idiot ONO and his lock step DIM group? Well, there are 2 that I consider more serious than the others. That doesn't mean that the other issues are not important, I don't like anything they are attempting.
Their agenda is to flood us with one thing after another and they hope to pass as many as they can. They are in complete control and can basically do whatever they want.
The debt we are building and the illegal immigration issue are my biggest concerns.
The debt is going to cause serious long lasting and far reaching problems, I can't begin to guess what they will all be, but you simply can not go that far in debt with half baked plans and programs that they are rushing through. At some point this money will come due.
The second issue is nothing more than the DIM's buying votes. Pure and simple, you legalize the 11 million people and you have a very large voting block in your favor, and you have more people added all at once to draw on the free benefits, further worsening the debt...
A good friend of mine has coined a phrase that I like. "DIM Kool aide"... That is what they are feeding the unsuspecting thru the media... A cult that will drink what their master feeds them without question.
6-24-09 Have you ever heard the expression, "dumber than a sled track"? If your old enough perhaps you have. Well, that partly explains what a DIM is... If you provide them with the location of resources so that they can read for themselves the news that is not being provided thru the ONO controlled news service. You would think that they would take the opportunity to educate themselves just a bit. Yet, they don't.
Recently I corresponded, well, actually I replied to a cry baby DIM who makes the claim that things are better now... Really? That was quick. His comments are amusing to say the least and why he is having a problem in the first place is in question because both he and his wife draw a retirement. That being the case, then they should be in pretty good shape money wise. So, it would make me believe that he is a typical mismanaged my life whiner who chooses to blame others for his own mistakes.
I can only say this. The problems that a person has in their lives are their own problems. Typically they were created by your own self and you can't blame someone else for everything. If things are already better for this one person, then great, I hope in his mind that he can remember his comments later. He is happy that there is a DIM in control everywhere, things are going great.. Just keep in mind my friend, when reality hits, you can't blame anyone else this time... Having said that, he will, that is his game and the game of every DIM out there. Cry baby blame someone else for all your troubles when they continue to create one problem after another. Never happy, childish in the way they approach things, and they remain this way because they won't make the effort to improve their knowledge in an effort to improve their lives.

The DIM's often speak of a right wing conspiracy, they use this whenever things go against them and blame the Republican's secret methods as under mining their efforts.
Well, there is something A FOOT folks, and I'm going to call it the "Liberal Conspiracy" for lack of any creativity giving it another name for today...
We have a completely ill prepared president who has assembled a cast of equally ill qualified advisers. They are all in the Peter Principle category at this point, yet, they do, and I repeat they DO actually have a plan...
Their conspiracy is to go after absolutely everything on the liberal wish list. To totally flood the market, introduce all programs they want, make some up, distract, overwhelm and divide and conquer. They know full well that their shot at this is right now, they control all portions of legislature, they have the majority, they have the follow in lock step people in place and they are going for it big time...
They are riding the wave of a very attractive man whom they idolize as the "hope" the "yes we can man". They have the press who has convinced the ill informed that he is the savior of all their woes and is their only hope for salvation, whatever their case may be, this man will save them and provide for them and make their lives wonderful.
Systematically they are making proposals, some outrageous, suggesting changes, forcing thru bills without reading them, spending money and making money at the same time, using loop holes and taking actions that until this man was elected they would have considered illegal. They have proposals to take away many of our constitutional rights, or amend them, or weaken them, so that it will suit their agenda....
And, what is their agenda? It is very simple... They want to satisfy and please as many as they can to guarantee their vote in future elections. They want to eliminate the effectiveness of those who actually think before they vote. To do this they are willing to take any action, spend any amount of money, pass any and everything to get there, while they can....
Already blacks will vote DIM, no matter what. Already voter registration is bizarre, being dead is no longer an issue as long as you are registered with ACORN who is going to conduct the next census... On welfare, disabled, poor, your a DIM, simply because you need and expect a hand out and the DIM's will work to provide you that hand out to win your vote. Then, the illegal alien's... Just wait, that legislation is going to be fast tracked one of these days soon and it could very possibly whistle right by and get passed... Congratulations, your now a citizen with all legal rights, and by the way, vote DIM or it will be changed back....

6-21-09 The "Peter Principle" the basis for the ONO administration.
For those not familiar with this concept, I will save you the time of looking it up. The definition is as follows: "The theory that employees within an organization will advance to their highest level of competence and then be promoted to and remain at a level at which they are incompetent."
During the election, it was politely pointed out that ONO had no experience on which to base his run for the office. It was also pointed out that his actions while a senator were questionable and failed to reveal that he was in fact learning anything while in that positon.
So, here we are today, with a man in charge of our country who is clearly demonstrating that he is in fact what they said he was... Not qualified to hold the position.
I've just about figured out what he is up to though, stay tuned, I'll explain...
6-18-09 I like what I see today with regard to numerous articles bringing out the concern of others about the out of control policies ONO has started and wishes to start. This total lack of regard to future debt is causing some concerns, not only here in the US but in other countries also. The dollar, thanks to ONO is going to loose it's status as the recognized currency of the world..
I certainly hope this is going to stick, we have got to slow this crap down. There are things that need to be done, but ONO hasn't a clue what he is doing and that has become obvious.
6-17-09 This is going to turn out to be a demonstration of complete power, where they do what they want to whom they want using whomever they want to obtain what they want, NO MATTER WHAT YOU MAY WANT!...
I see where they are going to produce a one sided sell the health care bill on ABC news and not allow a rebuttal or alternative speaker as is the tradition. Now, ask yourself this, were the Republican's to even suggest such an idea what would the DIM's be doing? Well, they are setting the precedent, if they do it, then in the future turn about is fair play.
Ask yourself these questions:
Do you think that any program can be created that will raise all the unfortunate's from the throws of dis pair and save them from themselves?
Do you think that in order to save these poor souls that raising taxes on everyone else is the way to accomplish this?
Do you believe ONO's stimulus bill will provide long term employment and economic growth?
Do you believe ONO when he promises only to control the mortgages, banking, automobile industry on a temporary basis?
Do you think the national value added tax (VAT) on all goods and services sold is a good idea?
Do you support amnesty for illegal immigrants?
Are you in favor of the Cap and Trade greenhouse emissions tax that is estimated to cost US business's 2 trillion in added taxes, the cost of which will be passed onto the consumer?
Do you think the national health care program, if passed and run by the government will be an improvement in your health care?
Do you believe healtcare professionals, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and others associated with healthcare will continue to provide quality care, adequate testing, continued research into new drugs and procedures while receiving fewer grants and less pay while being regulated by the government board appointed by ONO to run the program?
Do you think ONO has a clue what to do about N. Korea? Or Iran?

6-16-09 First, over the weekend did I see a softening by the ONO admin on their proposal to tax the hell out of everybody on the health care program? I sure hope so, seems some people are raising a fuss, keep it up guys!
I've been trying to figure out something since ONO took over GM and Chrysler. Lets make up an example here and try to figure out what their logic is...
Lets say we run a company that makes and sells auto's. OK, we've got a problem in that the cost to make these car's is to high, for various reasons we are paying to much for labor, utilities, insurance, parts, etc... We have GOT to cut our operating costs somehow.... How do we know this? Well, cause we are bankrupt! DUH! So, we sit down and figure this out with the greatest minds we can find and here is the solution:
We close the stores that sell our product... That'll fix part of the problem, now we won't sell any of our cars to the dealers we close and they in turn won't be able to sell our product for us. We'll close many of these dealers based upon political reasons (some say), and we'll close many without regard that some customers will no longer have a dealership for our car's near them. We don't care if a potential customer wants our car or not or if they have to drive an extra 50 miles to a dealer to get it. If they want our car bad enough, they'll put out the effort. We also won't care that all these dealers that we close pay us for the car's they buy from us and also stock parts to fix them, or that we are eliminating jobs.
Now that we have this problem fixed, we will start our factories back up and make more cars and sell them in only half (?) the dealerships we had before.
Does this make sense? Not to me it doesn't! I would prefer to have as many dealers as I could have. The dealer buys my car, stocks my parts, puts my car closer to the customer, has people working for them, etc... Why in the hell would you want to close a dealership in order to reduce the price of making a car?
The cost of making the car is the issue, the quality of the car is the issue, you make an affordable car that is of high quality and the dealer can sell it. You make crap and no dealer, even the one you hand pick to carry your car can sell it... Crap in, crap out!!!
This reeks of the same logic that the stimulus package has. A illogical decision that demonstrates stupidity on the part of ONO and his hand selected people. The stimulus package was rushed thru un-read to show and demonstrate their power, without regard to effectiveness it was what they had to do to fund as many of their programs and projects as quickly as they could. Well, it isn't working... Why they did this dealer thing this way may come to light down the road, it is yet another mistake they have made and one that our money will have to pay for down the road.
One last comment on this. When will Ford sue the US for its monopoly policies regarding auto's? Or, when will Ford say, hey, wait a minute, where is my money?
6-13-09 Let me see a show of hands of those who think that N. Korea will simply back off of their threats and toe the line? Raise your hand.... Hmmm, don't see any...
I have no way of even guessing what that whacko over there will do. But, I fear that we won't like it whatever it is he does do...
ONE TRILLION for the obamacare program, they are going to increase taxes to the tune of 600 billion and decrease medicare and medicaid payments to the tune of 400 billion.
I'm sure the program will work just fine, show of hands???
6-12-09 I'm waiting for the "BOOM" or the "BAM", whatever they might call it, when the legislation comes out on the fast track to increase taxes on various items, implement new taxes on items never taxed before, and changes to tax legislation reducing or eliminating current tax breaks for various things.
We know it is coming, it simply has to, the debt is incredible, the funds coming in are way down and the ONO's still have programs that they plan to implement on their free running agenda that nobody can stop right now.
I have seen that a national sales tax is being considered, an increase in gasoline tax from 18 to possibly as high as 40 cents a gallon. Alcohol and snack and "unhealthy" foods are also being targeted as well as cell phone's... The cell phone one is a new one I just picked up on this morning in fact.
All of this is simply following suit as to what has been done in the great state of California. Where the liberal's have had their way for many years and have already taxed anything that breaths or is eaten or consumed in some manner. You might say wait a minute, they have a Republican governor. No they don't... They have a steroid former actor and body builder playing governor. He hasn't been effective at all...
What is happening out there now is that they are near shutting down the government of CA because of this mismanagement. All these social programs and give me this and give me that programs have taken their toll. They have taxed and taxed, the response is that the people find ways to avoid the tax, such as cease new business opportunities, reduce staff, invest in a different way to avoid taxes... I myself have taken note of this, I have become far more liquid cash wise now. My tax burden is going to be reduced as a result. I'm not the only one, people with even a modest amount of money such as myself are going to protect what we have. Why would I want to make a dollar when half of it will be taken away in taxes? Or more than half of it? You reach a point that holding in place is a better strategy than trying to increase wealth or income. We are very close to that position and will be there if they implement all these tax changes they are talking about.
I told a good friend today, put on your seat belt and hold on, it is going to be a rough ride!
6-10-09 As you can guess if you read my rants, I care very little about the press and the reporters who sensationalized every person's misfortune and ruin their lives for the sake of a story they want to write. So, my comments regarding the two ladies who have been sentenced by N. Korea is simply that you finally got too close to someone who didn't want you there and they did something about it. Unlike in the free world, reporters do not have unlimited access and rights to report what they want there. I feel sorry for the young ladies, but a lesson should be learned here. I do wish that instead of these two ladies that more well known reports had been caught, Couric comes to mind...
Also to be noted, is our apparent lack of diplomacy to resolve this issue, kind of slow to make comments or find a solution wouldn't you say? Well, I say, because I recall the outrage by the DIM's in the past on the failure of the previous administration to resolve the issue promptly, i.e., the plane that landed in China... Shoe is on the other foot now, why I think ONO should simply go over there and give them a hug, that will surely get them released pronto right?
Large number of articles in various papers expressing concern over the economic policies that ONO has shoved down our throats. We will monitor that for awhile, I hope this is a positive trend and that people are beginning to realize that his debt and more debt method is wrong...
KEEP HIM! Noted that the idiot mayor of New Orleans has been detained in China because he was possibly exposed to someone who has the swine flu. Quarantine period is 5 years! Keep him, we don't need him back!
6-9-09 Not to be seen or addressed, not even a peep in the main stream news is the dismissal of the ethics charges against Gov. Palin that were targeted at her by the DIM's to discredit her during the election. They succeeded in their efforts and got their wish by using their press to discredit her during the campaign and to cost her personally.
The DIM majority will still follow the liberal line of lies and misinformation regarding her as they will not hear that she was falsely accused and has been cleared.
Can you think of other examples where they have done this? Well, I sure can, and some would say that the Republican's have done this also... Well, they did on occasion, but they can no longer as the press is controlled by the liberal agenda...
Did you notice the reporting on the two incidents last week. An Army men were killed by a newly converted muslim who hates the US as their religion preaches. A doctor who performs late term abortions was murdered. And, what did the press and ONO do? They quickly expressed their outrage over the murder of the abortion doctor and placed security at all of the abortion clinics. No comment regarding the death of the servicemen, it hit the news, he was killed, short story, done...
You read my rants about the press, over and over again, they are controlling what the majority see and hear and believe. People don't take the time to be informed, they take in 30 minutes of news blurbs and that is all. Then they think they are well informed... They are only getting what the press reports to serve its own agenda.
6-8-09 If you do some looking around, you will find a variety of articles in papers and on line that have subjects like: ONO's leadership rating drops, 15 questions regarding ONO's speech to the muslim world, lack of leadership regarding N. Korea and several regarding how the stimulus package is not working and how health care reform will destroy medical care in the US as we know it. Then there are letters to the editor in local papers, both sides of course but an ever increasing number questioning ONO's leadership ability.
So???? Is it making people think? Well, a few, because on the main stream media we read about what Mrs. ONO is wearing while they go out to eat in NY and Paris...
This really IRK's my ass how the press controls the majorities thought process, it was not intended to be that way! How the hell we got there is the key to the liberal's success, we got to get around that somehow and I don't know that we can.
6-7-09 Israel, I am no expert on all the history regarding Israel, who owned the land first and who did what to whom first, why, how many times, border's, etc... I think the truth on that now is that it has been distorted so many times that the truth has been lost. So, lets take a page from ONO's book. He seems to want to be the peachnic president, and since he obviously wishes to appease the muslim world, I have a suggestion for Israel...
I won't do it personally, but I will put together a group that will broker moving Israel to Northern Australia. So simple. Plan would take 1 year to work out the details and 5 years to prepare the site for the New State Of Israel and 4 years to make the move. 10 years total. Double the size of the country, move out of the way of the crazy ass muslim's who will accept only the destruction of Israel and nothing less and leave them with that little strip of land that will be worthless once Israel moves. This is so simple!
I can sympathize with Israel from the point of view as to where they are located. Who the hell picked that place anyway? Crimeny! If you live there wouldn't you be a bit concerned about what is happening? ONO is a muslim, it is becoming very clear very fast that the assurances that have been in place for many years from the US are no longer valid. These moves are not going to add to the stability of the area, they are going to result in a war that is going to be very nasty as it will cause the world to have a oil crisis. As in there won't be much at all for a long time... Israel is not going to sit on its ass and let its enemies wipe it out, even if they lost they would take out everything that is vital to the oil economy and I don't blame them one bit, I would do the same thing.

6-5-09 Rhetorical ONO... We don't need nukes, all we need is his teleprompter. Only problem is that it is not going to work, not for his push to make the muslim's love us. ONO who acknowledged in his first book that he himself was a muslim first, should realize that he is by religion at war with the very country that he claims to represent... Hmmm, perhaps that is his plan. Ultimately he is leading the way to weaken the US with a multi facet attack under the guise of being the leader of the world.
Back to the economy. A few days ago ONO magically created 150,000 jobs. I think he should change that number to something else as he has used the figure 150,000 before. Must be burned on his teleprompter screen. Facts are this. Between January and May according to the labor department there was a loss of 1.9 million jobs. Yet ONO has claimed otherwise twice now, both to the tune of 150,000 jobs yet the white house press and the main stream media do not question these obviously incorrect statements and they go unchallenged. These claims go published and are taken as fact and we have reached the point where 1 out of 6 people in the US are now being supported by the government.
If you have read my rants over the past couple of months, I have managed to predict several things along the way. Not proud of that, I would prefer to be wrong, hell I would prefer to not write this rant page at all. But I feel compelled to put my opinion on here because he is simply screwing up my country big time. Well, I will once again point out that this recession is going to get far worse before it gets better, as I have said before, ONO's actions are not providing relief, his actions are creating festering problems that will continue to linger for sometime to come. The economy would have naturally recovered had we left everything the hell alone. The stimulus bill is not working and it won't work as the projects they create are pork, pure and simple. My biggest fear at this moment is that they will shove the health care program thru, it may very well make the depression they talk about happen... Sorry, not a very good rant today, I am at a loss to words to describe how donked up things appear right now...
In our local paper a man wrote thanking ONO for the tax cuts... He and his wife are now taking home more money each week. This fool went on to describe ONO as a great leader and to bash any and all conservative's and their past programs that have failed. OK, well, come tax time, wonder if he will realize that he won't get as much back, or will have to pay more, this is assuming he pays taxes... A friend made a comment that is so true, not much we can do about some of the people, "they have already drank the kool aide"...
6-4-09 Something you didn't see on the main stream media is the report that the ONO admin posted on the web the location and function of every single nuclear facility in the US. When discovered they said it would cause no harm as it wasn't on the web for very long. Again as I have harped on here time and time again, what do you think would be going on now if the previous admin had done that? It would be on the main stream media calling for their jobs immediately... How stupid can these people be? The press hides something else yet again...
The ONO admin is not going to run GM, yet within 24 hours they are holding hearings as to the decision made by GM and Chrysler on which dealerships to close. Truth is though, I don't disagree with this hearing as there are some questions that should be addressed. First, why are the majority of the dealerships being closed the ones who contributed to Republican candidates rather than DIM ones?
GM and Chrysler say they need to stream line their operation, they are going to re-make the company and all that hype. In fact I saw a commercial by GM about the revival they plan to make a comeback. OK, then answer this for me. Why would you close a large portion of the "stores" that sell your product first? It would seem to me that the more places that sell your product, the better. What you need to do is organize the products you offer, make them better and cut the cost of production first. One could argue that they are protecting "union" jobs doing this. Cutting your dealers who buy and sell your product is not going to make your product better or cut the cost of making your product... DUH!
Locally they are taking a dealer who has Jeep and Chrysler and giving it to a dealer who already has Ford. An existing business is being eliminated completely and given to a dealer who never has carried their product before. Tell you what, that doesn't make sense... Is there a political reason for this? Lord, you would hope not...
6-2-09 OK, this might be petty to some but I have discussed this before about ONO seeming to be out of touch, not on the same page, do as I say not as I do.
Here we are in debt up to our eyeballs and continuing to spend like there is no tomorrow, taking over GM which will be a useless endeavor as we will see down the road, talking about national health care expansion to the tune of more trillion's in debt.... And ONO goes to NY to take in a broadway show. Well, that is nice, I don't begrudge them a night out, but it seems to me to be out of place at this moment when you consider that this night out cost you and me over a million... Call me petty if you like, just seems out of place.
We all know about it, it was the head news story in many places. The economy, N. Korea and other world issues got set aside so that the adoring lap dog press could report on what she wore, where they ate, the google eye'd responses from those in attendance, the applause they got everywhere they went, etc... Idol worship... Man, I just don't get it...
6-1-09 Spend and Tax, a new concept in that we usually say "Tax and Spend". ONO turned it around and is spending money that we do not have. Anyone who does this is obviously an idiot in my book and the root cause of our problems today. The American dream is a goal, but you have to earn your way there, you can not simply spend money you do not have in order to obtain your dream... at some point you have to have the money and working for it is how you get the money.
The tax part though is going to be interesting. Behind the scenes at this very moment there are meetings being held by the ONO's who are trying to figure out how they will pay for their stimulus, overcome the ever growing short fall in tax revenue that is occurring and their only solution will and can only be, TAXES... Well, not exactly, I suppose you could call them fee's if you want.
Tobacco, alcohol, snack food, soda's have all been mentioned. And, to my utter surprise, and I do mean surprise because I never thought they would even consider it... they are bouncing around a "national sales tax" and the suggestion is right now 1%... I don't know about you but I would think that there would be a scream heard around the world if they passed that, but who knows. ONO is slick, slicker than Willie ever was and he might just read off the teleprompter some sweet Messiah leading his people out of the wilderness words that would soothe it all over nice and sweet and get them to accept the 1% tax on everything from now on. I tell you, the man can not be underestimated at all, he can talk his people into believing just about anything.
And, it is noteworthy that we remember that the new taxes being considered will be in addition to the green tax on emissions and waste and in addition to the upcoming income tax increase on anyone making 250, 200 or is it 100k? That is a moving target still...
Is it not obvious that the number of people drawing money from the government for one reason or another is increasing. It is far easier to simply give up and say you can't make it and accept what they will give you, forget about working or trying, the more you succeed the more you pay, it reaches a point where it is no longer worth your while to work hard and succeed.
And so, we start June 09 in the same manner as we did when we started this rant page. It continues to get worse, somewhere down the road this has got to turn around, either that or crash...
