A petition of sorts is out to play with the idea to force our dear lawmakers in Washington to go under the health care program they create. I signed it and forwarded it to some friends, nothing will come of it but it is a novel idea.

I got a regular snail mail reply from my governor yesterday. Boy that was quick! I asked him for 5 minutes of his time to present him with a novel approach to a new surcharge to raise funds for the state. His reply is as follows: "Thank you for contacting me with your suggestions. Your thoughts and concerns are of great importance to me, and I will be sharing them with my key staff members." Well, if you can't even contact a state lawmaker, makes you wonder about the higher mukity muks. I asked for a meeting of 5 minutes, he is going to share my ideas with his staff. OK, priceless...

Truth is I think I have an excellent idea, I'll think about this for awhile and might continue, I may send him a snail mail letter back and return his with it. Not like I'm busy or anything...

The AARP, of which I am a member, is supporting the ONO health care plan. I don't get it! I thought the AARP was suppose to represent senior's and their needs. I smell politics in this, I hope they pay a dear price for this. You don't have to be very smart to realize that the 1,000 plus page bill that already exists and changes hourly will be no more effective than the stimulus bill they forced thru. Once again not a single person has read this thing, it is impossible as it is in pieces, part of it here and part of it there as each group adds their little quirks to the bill while in another room a totally different idea is being added. AARP endorses such a thing?

7-29-09 Monday morning I sat down and typed a very nice but short e-mail to the governor of my current State West Virginia. I was a bit evasive but told him that I had a simple idea that could easily be implemented in our State to increase revenue which could be used to supplement our budget. That the idea was new and unique and it could easily be put into operation as the means to collect this surcharge was already in place. I ended by saying that I would like to have 5 minutes of his time, to first meet him in person, that I would consider it an honor and second to present my idea to him in person for his consideration. Am I willing to accept an appointment, dress up in a suit, drive down to Charleston and sit and wait for my 5 minute appointment? You bet, look forward to it. I got an immediate reply to my e-mail thanking me for contacting the governor with my concerns, will I ever here from him? Doubt it, but stay tuned, I'll certainly write about it here if I do.

7-28-09 Some of this stuff is actually very easy if one considers common sense methods to resolve problems. A tax on tobacco and liquor and other "vice" taxes have been in place even before I was born. So, since this is a common practice and a long used approach to reducing the "EVIL" that a person does, costing others who do not participate in these evil practices money... I.E. smoking causes cancer and heart attacks, so, those who smoke must pay a extra tax to compensate the system for their bad habit which drives up health costs. OK, then here it is....

If you weight over 200 lbs you pay $1.99 per pound in extra taxes each year. Pretty simple, problem solved! If you weigh in at 201 lbs you pay a $1.99 surcharge on your tax each year, no family discounts, meaning that if your wife weighs only 110 and you are 280 you get a discount because she is under. Nope, no family spread the fat allowance. Same with kids, each family member must handle their own 200 lbs, which should be a no brainer for kids but now days when they get up to about 12 or 13 years old, well, some exceed the 200. So, surcharge!!!

Actually $1.99 per pound is a pretty good price, some meat costs much more! But, if you weigh 210 then that is $19.99 and up it goes, same principal as other evil taxes, you pay for your actions.

7-27-09 I had a thought, hey, it can happen, pop into my head when I happened to see a re-play of ONO on the campaign trail up in OH for his ram it down our throat health care program. He said, what he has said many times before and that is that "no pre-existing conditions would be denied" for health care insurance. Well, made me recall that I know that some young people in their 20's have chosen not to carry health insurance, they are willing to take the risk during the "best years" of their lives and save money for other purposes. I totally do not agree with that idea, but it is happening. So, this promise by ONO leads me to believe that what I should do is to cancel my health insurance. Since no pre-existing condition will be denied, then that means I don't need health insurance until I am sick... Same logic would apply to car insurance, why bother, I'll only buy it when I have a wreck...

This folks is a signal, a red flare in the middle of a totally dark night, that ONO is as advertised a complete and total idiot. He marvels in reading printed words from a teleprompter and basking in the applause that follows after he has just read a sentence and comes to the phrase "PAUSE FOR APPLAUSE, SMILE!" He doesn't write these words, he only reacts to what he is told and says one thing in one state while saying another thing somewhere else. When pushed on hard for details, his response is a reply that blames others for the problems.

A friend sent me a mail where it has been proposed that the senator's and congressmen make it mandatory for themselves that they fall under this new health care program. There you go! I hope there is some truth to this...

I had sent an e-mail to the distinguished congressman Robert Mollohan. Over a month ago. No reply so I called his office. No answer, left a message, after awhile she called. I told her I had not received a reply, she said that was odd, and I told her that I agreed. I proceeded to tell her that I do not like the idea of this health care issue being forced on us without a well formed plan. That I did not want another bill like the stimulus program to be passed when it wasn't even read by my congressman. She eluded to the point that he had recently directed funding in the amount of 2 million dollars for the point park, a park where the 2 rivers here meet. I told her that I would think that the 2 million dollars would be better spent funding additional positions for several years in law enforcement, a couple new jobs to protect the community rather than plant grass at a park. Got a bit of dead air on that... And, I went on, told her that not only did I not agree, but my wife didn't and that I did not know anyone who agreed with how the stimulus package was passed and we are not happy with what is being done to ram the health care program up our butts either. That I would like my congressman to know that I don't agree and that I would like him to visit our city, have a meeting with the people, I'll certainly attend, and hear what we have to say and why. My last comment was, tell him we do not want him to vote in lock step formation behind pelosi and ONO, we want him to vote for what is best for West Virginia. She informed me she would send him the message. Yeah right! Anyway, felt pretty good actually...

Write, better yet, call, you can find their number, call and let your voice be heard, tell them to WHOA! you can't create a national health care program in 30 days, especially not in Washington! If we make changes, they need to be well thought out, one step at a time, like the drug program enacted last to help with prescriptions, it has worked fairly well, add some other features, you can't change everything at once and expect it to work.

My fingers are tired, I think I am injured, I need to call and get some insurance, back soon...

7-24-09 A good Friday lets call it. Lets Ramble.... It appears that there will be a delay in the health care vote in the senate that ONO is trying to get while his popularity is still blinding people from thinking. It should be noted that this popularity is decreasing as we get to see that ONO is an idiot, he will lie about anything he wants to get passed, and he is indeed a racist which we will point out in a moment. At least the senate is taking a look at this proposal and evidently will take time to read it this time! Yet, pelosi in the house is still herding her flock to pass their liberal agenda on this health plan that they are making up as they talk about it...

Yesterday in Ohio ONO quickly sided with his black professor friend who is claiming that he was treated incorrectly by a white police officer. ONO called the officer's actions "stupid" and did so without knowing the facts. Had ONO watched Fox about a hour earlier he would have known the whole story and why the officer took the actions that he did. But, caught off guard, without his teleprompter to read, ONO immediately showed his racist feelings that he has shown all his life yet go ignored by his devout followers. Rev. Jeremiah Wright taught him well.

At the same time this occurred, Jesse Jackson was looking for a camera that would film him in his all out outrage, he was caught a bit off guard on this as he is bottom sucking still at the Michael Jackson family camp. As a result he had to go back disappointed as ONO beat him to the punch.

The officer took the proper actions, professor Gates's actions were what caused the incident to escalate out of control resulting in his arrest. I hope ONO has stepped in it on this, the more people realize that he is a racist the better, the more realize he is incompetent the better, lets hope the August recess will shed some light on the house and senate as they return home. Tell them what you think, I will again and again...

I hope I see the beginning of a trend here with regard to countering all these racist claims. SGT Crowley, the officer being accused of being a racist is considering a defamation lawsuit. YES! And they may release recordings of the incident... YES! I've wondered for a long time why police officers don't cover their asses better... I'd have a tape recorder on me all the time if I was a cop.... This may be a lot of fun to watch...

Yesterday I heard a reporter say, when Walter Cronkite reported news, you could not tell which party he was for. The other reporter said, I think he was a Dimocrat... Can you tell which party the reporters favor now days?

It is reported that N. Korea has slammed the hildabeast as follows: "We cannot but regard Mrs. Clinton as a funny lady as she likes to utter such rhetoric, unaware of the elementary etiquette in the international community," a Foreign Ministry spokesman said, according to North Korean media. "Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping."

Pretty accurate if you ask me...

A friend wrote pointing out that ONO has taken some heavy steps at hiding his educational records from the public. Spent quite a bit of money doing this. Wondering why? Well, I was not aware of that, not surprised hearing this had been done, but not aware. Jack, I would love to post a guest rant on here when you get the time to elaborate on this for all of us to read :)

And, last but not least, NBC news a couple nights ago addressed the birth certificate issue regarding ONO. They unlike Walter Cronkite, didn't hide their party affiliation at all, claiming that any and all the comments are not true, it was not a reporter reporting the news, it was two reporters talking together in utter disgust about this claim that keeps surfacing, they stated that ONO is indeed a US citizen having been born in Hawaii and despite the fact that they still have not produced the actual document, the birth certificate was seen by a hospital staff member so that is good enough. They then eluded to the fact that McCain was born in Panama and spoke of other controversial claims regarding past president's... Walter, where are you!

7-23-09 With 6 months under his belt, ONO held his 4th, FOURTH prime time news conference. And, I see signs that people are getting tired of watching him admire himself on camera. He continues with the mantra that he was elected to enact certain policies, NO MATTER WHAT, but the people are beginning to see that he is inexperienced, misguided and doesn't have a clue what he is doing.

Constantly harping about health care changes and having no plan or details on how it will function, denying and claiming that critics who provide facts and figures against the plan are attacking HIM is the typical DIM response when called to task.

Since ONO took over, a stimulus package which we have no clue how we will pay was put into place. It is not working, I would like someone to point out where it is working? He has taken over GM, and that also is not working. So, I ask you, why would anyone in their right mind follow this pied piper who has demonstrated incompetence into yet another plan that he says we must have. I'm all for the 3 strikes and your out concept. Your outta there ONO, shouldn't have been there in the first place!

7-21-09 That had to piss some people off, and I hate to admit it but it is the first thing that ONO has done that even remotely aligns with my thought process on things. ONO went before the NAACP and echoed Bill Cosby's comments for many years that black's need to stop blaming race for their problems and to step up and earn their way into society. To be responsible for their actions and realize that the world today is not keeping them down as they claim, but that each person is responsible for their own problems or success. ONO cited the obvious, he was elected and he is black, or half black. Not a US citizen, but he didn't address that issue.. But, that had to piss many off and it was not reported on the main stream news channels, totally omitted, in fact I didn't see where they even mentioned that he was there.. So, yet again a means of control by the press, they are still watching over their anointed one and keeping him from pissing off to many at one time.

On TV last night was a show regarding the landing on the moon 40 years ago. It showed Cronkite giving the news reports and at the end the reporter made mention of his passing and again talked about the standards and ethics that he (Cronkite) had set for all reporters today. And again I say, you should be ashamed of yourself to even suggest that the press today reports news in the manner that they did before. Reporting today is loaded with bias, slanted, stories ignored when they want and if you want proof of that, well, ONO got elected didn't he?

7-20-09 BOY I HOPE THIS IS TRUE!!! Headline reads, Democrats fleeing obama as approval ratings plunge... You'll note I used ONO's real name, in a sentence like that is deserves being used properly.

Do you think that we the people contacting our represenatives is doing any good. I think maybe it might, please continue to do so. The alarming debt for their fast paced ill formed stimulus package plus the purchase of GM and the talk of another stimulus package and the cost of health care, then they say we are going bankrupt unless we spend more money, and they say, well, we guess wrong on the figures and the stimulus isn't going to work as planned, and ONO still refusing to acknowledge that he has no clue, he is an idiot, his teleprompter is making him do it, lets hope common sense has begun to rear its head...

It is going to be a struggle as it is right now, to recover from what has already been done, compounding the problem with further debt has got to stop, please....

I watched part of a tribute on TV to Walter Cronkite. We never watched him, watched Huntly and Brinkley but we certainly knew who he was. During the tribute they had all the current and past news casters say words in tribute to him. All of them said that he presented the news in a neutral and unbiased manner... Now read that last sentence again... They all stated how they admired him and how he set the standards for them today... Well, if that is the case then not a single one of you are worth a crap. You do not present the news as it is and let the viewer decided for themselves, you spin it toward the left and sell it as a fact. None of you honor this man you claim to admire.

7-17-09 From a CBS news report VP Biden told people from AARP who attended a meeting that unless the health care program is passed, the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate for our country is for the government to spend more money...

I'm not making this up!

Am I the only one who has a problem understanding this? Are there still so many people out there that choose to simply ignore what is going on, hoping that they will work some miracle and suddenly utopia will spring up and everybody will be rich and happy and cared for?

Simply put, it can't work, you can not spend money you do not have, already in debt trillion's of dollars and continue to spend more to force programs and issues from your wish list, while ignoring that some day you will have to pay for this!

On the main stream media the blitz is on, the sweet talking and sometimes tough talking ONO, who says, "doing something is better than doing nothing at all", is making his rounds leading the flock further down the path. They follow because they believe that he is the solution to any and all woes, they suffer so much and want their socialist programs so badly that they would follow him right off the cliff. Well.... they already have and we are stuck with the bill coming due down the road.

Already I have read numerous articles by economists who predict that the tax bracket will be 50%.. Now that is really cool, you make a dollar and give half of it back. What kind of incentive is that to work hard, work overtime, if you run a business, to expand and hire more people. As a business owner you give your employee money, you then have to pay for their health insurance, you will surely mix up the paperwork and be fined somehow for not complying with the "ONO deal" and your utility bills will go up because of cap and trade legislation.

People are already hiding money, interest rates and everything else financial are way way down. The income to be reported for next year is going to set an all time low, tax reviews is going to be so low that it will be hard to believe. People are simply sitting on money, not willing to invest, pulling money out of places to set it aside so that it will not draw interest. Why? because they know the taxes are coming, they are not going to pay them, it is wiser to set it aside and wait a few years until common sense returns.

Don't think so? Take my Mar 31st challenge, jot down my comment I just made. Tax collections will be at nearly a all time low for the year of 2009... I don't want to be right, I have said that before, but, I am...

7-16-09 It seems like I am living in a world now that just doesn't make any sense. First the stimulus package which is obviously not working, don't take my word for it, look around, read for yourself what is happening, look at the unemployment figures and the kicker on this is that it is not funded! They will have to come up with new taxes, sur-charges or whatever they can devise to get this money back to pay for this flawed program...

Now, they are hell bent on ramming a health care program down our throats. Lets not discuss this at all, lets not look at Canada and the UK where national health care has so many problems. I read today where a lady in the UK is on the waiting list for 9 months to have a routine procedure done where here in the US it would have already been done. And, lets not consider the cost, another trillion dollars on top of what the stimulus has cost and that will make it 2 trillion dollars that needs to be accounted for with new taxes and charges.

How in the hell or rather why in the hell, is everybody sitting around doing nothing when they are talking about creating new taxes on just about everything? Our founding father's did not have this in mind, the DIM's were not given a mandate to do this by winning this past election... They seem to think so, the 500 some lawmakers seem to think so, the 300 million of the rest of us don't have a voice.

I have written my DIM representatives, I got a stock reply from Rockefeller and Byrd, a ramble reply typed by some staff member who spent only a few seconds deciding which stock reply to send to me. You read it and it is simply mumbo jumbo and bull shit. Then there is Mollohan, in the house, he didn't bother to even reply.

I try to remain optimistic and hopeful, thinking that common sense will prevail, that others will see what I am seeing and express their concerns. Yet, it continues, not enough people are paying attention, the country has dummied itself out and we are all going to pay a hefty price if this crap passes...

7-15-09 Move over Al Franken, the biggest comedian in Washington is not you buddy, now that you are finally there, it is ONO and you will never push him aside and become number one.

ONO is trotting around the world, leading the US in one category only, as the most traveled president in history and all he is doing is avoiding dealing with our two main issues of the economy and our security.

His clown in waiting Biden stated that their administration misread the economy and ONO comes back saying No, rather that they had incomplete information. Well, you are the ones who created the information you provided to justify the enormous stimulus package, stated that it must be rushed thru, then when it was you were away on a trip and signed it when you got back. Your figures, your statements, your justification... And now that it is obvious that it is not working, you claim that you had bad data? Well, I got news for you, your data was flawed as it was deliberately created by you to sell your plan, you haven't a clue what is going on, your still and always will be the rock star in waiting. You thrive on cheering crowds, not on accomplishments of which so far there are absolutely NONE...

You'll sit down and talk with other countries, well you have to get there in time for the meeting first thing, then you have to make sense when you do talk with them, both of which you are having a problem with. Your approach to apologize to everyone for everything our country has ever done is not working. Iran, N. Korea, China, Russia and all the others stand back and are amused at you and talk among themselves about the obvious demise of our country.

Somebody show me one successful thing so far, here or there, anywhere, can you point out one accomplishment for ONO? The answer is no, there is nothing except higher taxes and mass confusion coming as a result of what has happened so far.

The wacko Michael Jackson, the king of pop, is dead, died of personal abuse or somebody killed him, doesn't matter, guy was all messed up big time. So is ONO, who no doubt is now thinking, hey, I am the greatest black guy now that there ever was... Well, your king in my book, the King of Flop!

7-14-09 OK, what is happening with regard to the health care program that ONO and the DIM's are trying to shove down our throats? Well, one proposal after another is being suggested on how to pay for it. It is a comedy in my opinion, a surcharge on the rich, surcharge on what part of the rich? Don't know yet, but that is the suggestion. I'm not sure if this means people named Rich or if it means people who are rich in their heritage or if it really means those with money... I suspect it is those with money though :) This latest proposal follows numerous other on and off again proposals that have been made, but one of the biggest problems is that they are having a problem finding some way to increase a tax or place a surcharge on something because they have to pay for the first stimulus package somehow. And, they have a problem that they suddenly realized in that if you tax a whole bunch of new things and raise the taxes on things that are already being taxed, well, the people get pissed off! Special interest groups are jumping up and down, my WV senator's are not happy with the tax the hell out of coal program for clean air, increasing tax on gas is not going well and on it goes, they are finding that no matter what they want to tax that there is someone who doesn't like the idea... You reckon???

California here we come! Is this a sign of what is going to happen to the whole country? China and other countries are beginning to think so, they propose doing away with the dollar as the national currency. Have you any idea what ramifications that would represent? I have on some things, simply put the price of all imports will jump like crazy... The financial market world wide will be unstable as the new currency fights to establish itself. Chaos... And, back to California and its IOU's... I want you to take a look if you would at why they are in the mess that they are, simply put they has mismanaged basically everything trying to provide free services to everyone and this is exactly what ONO is trying to do... We can not afford to bail them out and I certainly don't want to be part owner in the state of California!

7-12-09 I ran across a very interesting article. After reading it I felt like I was reading a plan that the press is formulating regarding their support of their darling ONO... The report goes on to say that they are still very favorable of their darling, they promoted him so highly and made him walk on water that they are very reluctant to let go... Yet, they see that they have made somewhat of a mistake. There are grumblings now, their anointed one is failing to live up to their hype. Hmmm, pressure is building finally. And from whom? You and I that is who. The ONO method of throwing money after every problem is making everyone realize that he is a complete idiot. Slowly people are waking up and the press is noticing. About time, have you not been reading my comments on here?? :) I've had this jerk figured out from day one and his actions and methods are no surprise to me at all.

I also noticed a little clip on NBC last night, at the G8 summit where ONO was late in arriving for the group photo. This may seem like nit picking, but I personally don't like the idea that his ego is so big that he can't keep on schedule. Here he is supposedly working with leaders of other countries on economic issues and he can't get there in time to take a photo with them. Making them stand around and wait on him. I could care less about the fact that they had to wait on him, but it points out yet again that the man can not function in this position. He can't make it on time for an appointment, perhaps he gave them money for having to wait on him?

7-11-09 I watched a report on Fox where they were discussing Stimulus package II... Necessary say some because the stimulus package of 800 billion is not working. Now we are in a game here where we have to name and assign a number to the stimulus packages?

I started and I am writing this page because of the waste of money that the ONO administration is promoting. This is getting worse than I imagined, it was horrible with the first, now a second!!! Stimulus I was ill conceived, not read, destined to fail and now they seem surprised? And we need to spend more money we don't have to stimulate plan one with a plan two???

I suppose it makes sense, since they have yet to figure out how to fund plan one they might as well start plan two and then figure how to fund both at the same time. This along with the national health care joke they want...

Fact is this.... Had we done nothing, except provide money to temporarily shore up the banks and insurance, the economy would be on the mend NOW and recovering as it has in the past on its own. The stimulus money, which is turning out to be as we predicted a total waste, is going to cause a reflex recession that will bring us close to a depression, if not a full depression. I don't want to be right, but I fear that I am, the idiots are in control, they hold the majority position in every level of government now and the weak knee republican's are afraid to speak up and protest. Are they not seeing the same things I am seeing?

7-10-09 We had a nice trip thru the south, I did see a few ONO stickers but far more McCain stickers on cars and a few ONBAMA stickers... I didn't have the opportunity to talk with anyone regarding politics though.

I see where another comedian entered the senate, Frankin, an appropriate fit... Now their act is complete with a super majority of Dim clowns in place to continue to push their agenda.

Palin quit? I think the lady is a looker but I believe she is also the reason McCain lost. What she is doing and why at this moment doesn't make sense to me, but we will see. Perhaps she is doing the smart thing, using her popularity to cook up some book deals and make her millions now why she is hot, then fade away into the speaker's circuit...

Job losses continue to mount, the economy, which would be well into a recovery under normal circumstances is not recovering as the soaring debt looms in sight down the road. My only question is, who will the DIM's blame now? Somehow they will pass the blame to someone other than themselves. Did you do it?
