O No!

Suffice it to say I did not vote for "O No"!

And the reason(s) why are quickly becoming evident as he has taken office...

9/1/10 Mr. ONO is making much ado about the closure of the Iraq war plan, taking some undeserved pats on the back for a job well done when in fact.... We all know that he opposed the entire thing, claiming as all ill advised dim's do that we were attacking for oil, and when the surge was needed, he claimed it was the absolute wrong thing to do and that it was poor planning on Bush's part to need this and that it simply would not work and he opposed it. Got that on numerous newscasts which can be seen if you just take a moment to look. So, now, his plan is working...

I suppose the same thing will happen with the economy now. He stated that part of the problem with our economy is the cost of the wars. Well, I got news for you ONO, wars drive employment, not that we want that, but the wars are not the cause of the problem. The major cause of the current problem where the economy won't start growing back is you sir. You have everybody, big and small business, leery of what new government control, restriction, tax, legislation, fines, laws and czar's they will have to deal with next. Your creating the problem sir, have somebody write that on your teleprompter and maybe you'll read it and then know the truth...

8/26/10 I think it is true what I read, that ONO is only good at one thing actually and that is being on vacation. Seems to favor the rich and lavish life too and truth is, both he and the mrs seem to be spending an awful lot of money on all their trips. They were in HI not to long ago, she was in Europe and now another vacation at Martha's... They seem at ease there, where their beloved followers can holler at them and clap with glee as they walk about the mortal's.

In the mean time though, as I have written many times in the past, we do indeed seem very close to the double dip that was predicted when this whole mess started. Despite Biden saying we are headed in the right direction, the stimulus money was wasted, unemployment is getting worse and their is no incentive for business to hire because of the fears that they have about ONO and his pack of dim's and the health care mandates that will come into play soon. Come January 1st, if they do not renew the Bush tax cuts, some of this country is going to drop off the cliff and splat like a raw egg hitting pavement...

Enjoy your vacation ONO, you do nothing well!

8-15-10 OK, all your non believers, you know who you are... your the idiots who voted ONO into office for a change, for hope, to make things better you said. Well, are you happy now? ONO who has failed to attend church but a hand full of times, has failed to have a traditional day of prayer recognition at the white house, who failed to attend the memorial day tribute to our soldiers and a dozen other traditional (as in had been done for many years by previous Christian presidents) functions... Has gone public with his support for the ground zero mosque... Can you believe this crap? You got to be kidding! Muslims finally knocked the buildings down on their second attempt, first one failed during Clinton's rein you remember, killed a whole pile of people and now he condones building a mosque right in the face of those who support our country? Don't you think it might make a few people upset? Don't you think it is a little out of place? How about us building a museum in Japan congratulating ourselves for blowing them up with an atom bomb? Would that be a bit out of line? I think so, and so is this! ONO shows his true colors, he is not a Christian, he could care less what non believers think... To those who voted for him, I hope your happy...

Read an article where it was stated it is time to start raising interest rates. Man, where has that been? It is also time for people to take their lumps, stop giving them money for everything and time to tighten our belts, buckle down and work out of this recession. I'm here to tell you that previous recessions recovered far quicker than this because the economy was allowed to work its way back. ONO and the dim ideas of giving people money and more money is not the way to bring things back. We are already in the double dip, if we don't realize this soon, we very well could head into a depression.

Build a mosque there? You got to be kidding me!

I hope everybody who plans to run against a dim gets a clip of that and uses it to show what is important to him, not you or me, we are non believers...

8-6-10 Shall I waste my time pointing out that ONO and his DIM controlling government liberal's are simply ignoring any and all laws to have their way? Examples could possibly be that in CA they held an election where it was decided by majority that a marriage was a union between a man and a woman. ONO and his liberal's don't agree so the case was put before a liberal judge that a DIM had appointed and now it doesn't matter that they had an election, it doesn't matter what the bible says, it doesn't matter that the majority of people in CA don't agree, what matters is that ONO and the liberal's get their wish. Another example is the immigration law change in AZ. That state has a large majority of people who want to enforce the law of the land. That being, you must be legal to be in our country. It is a pretty simple and logical thing in my opinion to simply wish to enforce the law don't you think? Well, as you know, ONO and his liberal DIM's disagree, they had their case go before a liberal judge that a DIM had appointed and once again they make their will the law when the majority are opposed.

What is it going to take folks? At what point are we going to say, enough! The constitution does not give complete and absolute power to ONO or anyone else. This is totally out of hand, and it continues to escalate way beyond anything I had expected..

7/30/10 The kill the USA liberal's got their wish in AZ killing most of the immigration bill. What can I say, you know that is wrong.

Now the threat is surfacing from the DIM's that is basically "you haven't seen anything yet". Just wait and see if you vote out the DIM majority this election, they will go wild passing lame duck legislation as fast as possible to retaliate for their loss. Now what kind of people are these? Typical crybaby DIM, my way is the best way, don't care if you agree or not, the rich will pay for it and if they don't I'll hide a tax somewhere else. Anti military, anti national security, no immigration control and they get mad if they loose. They will show us alright, could be very interesting indeed..

7-24-10 I haven't had much to say lately simply because it is basically same stuff just a different day from the ONO gang. They got their extension on unemployment benefits which simply means more debt for us to deal with in the future. I am relieved that things seem to be just about done though until after the election perhaps.

My hope is that people will not forget their alarm between now and the election. The DIM's will begin their non stop campaigns shortly claiming that things are great, that they are on the right track and that the Republican's are in their way and the cause of all our problems. I say, that if you have a lick of sense at all that you should realize that such is not the case. Had the economy been adjusted with some tax breaks for creating new jobs, some changes to laws for awhile for business, then we would be well out of this recession and less than 10% of the workers would be out of jobs and we certainly wouldn't have millions who are drawing their unemployment for the new 99 week allotment they have created. Some are drawing more in unemployment than I do in retirement, what the heck is this?

ONO is being put to task as the most incapable president ever. I am fully convinced that time will prove this to be true. The man is not even remotely qualified to hold the office, and as proof I just offer the national debt that he created yet he blames on Bush or anyone else except himself. Not good, not good at all...

7-12-10 I have read a lot of material lately which says over and over again the same thing. That, the majority of American's are opposed to the liberal agenda that ONO is forcing through using his DIM majority. My comments on this are: Yes, I know and I am grateful that despite the majority of DIM's in place that some things are being slowed down. I have one hope and that is that the upcoming mid term election will resonate through the halls of the D.C. buildings loudly, knocking some of the fools out of their long held positions.

I simply do not understand politics evidently, specifically how ONO is going after AZ and going to sue them to stop their law where they can ask if a person is a legit US citizen or not. What the hell! Going further the idiot wants to grant blanket amnesty to the 11 million currently in the US. Grant them citizenship on the basis that they promise to learn our language and pay taxes... The hidden agenda is simply they want them to become DIM voters, nothing else, pure and simple. I'm getting a bit flustered typing this, makes my face red when thinking about it... Something has got to change and it needs to happen soon. Debt beyond belief coming due, no leadership in the white house, this jerk is without a doubt going to be the worst president in our history.

7-9-10 Random thoughts:

What are people going to say or think after the first of the year when numerous taxes go up and the Bush tax cuts expire? It is going to be more expensive. I refer to my challenge, my timing is off but it is coming...

Peter Principal is in full force for ONO still, the man can't get past his ego to learn anything. His I am the president thought process continues to get in his way and he can not make a good decision on anything.

Again I ask, where is the alarm and the screaming and the non stop news coverage over the oil spill in the gulf? You think for a moment that this would be such a hush hush issue were a Republican in office? You know it wouldn't, yet the DIM controlled press continues to lock step march for their party...

Did you know that the Dutch immediately offered a oil cleaning tanker to the US when the spill occurred? Well, ONO said no and asked if they could have the info regarding the technology. Instead of letting the Dutch head over immediately, he put the technology up for bid and only union work forces were allowed to bid. They began to learn and try to duplicate the technology, all the while the oil continued to spill, and now we see that the Dutch are being asked to help, or rather, allowed to help possibly if ONO and his Czars come up with a way to say "yes, we have a disaster on our hands and need your help!".... Union baby!

All the while, this whole thing could have been stopped months ago with likely one single bomb to fuze and seal the leak. Why oh why are we ignoring this recommendation?

Read an article regarding the general who resigned and the reasons why, as I stated before, it was the general committing suicide to try to get things changed. We'll see a change now that ONO was called on his hug them twice before you ask them to be nice approach to the war.

Also read an article acknowledging ONO's accomplishments during his political life. Pretty much comes down to two bio's he wrote, about himself, that has been his accomplishment so far... ObamaEgoMania, the man has so much self, never seen the like...

I understand I have a new reader, a new friend who is our neighbor, Welcome Elaine :)

6-29-10 Having lived in WV for so long I must make a comment regarding the death of Byrd. Whom I voted for several times in the past but the past couple of times I did not. The man got strange as time went along. One thing for certain though, he served WV well flooding it with ga-zillion's of dollars of pork projects, most bearing his name. I have always said, he would and could be elected twice after his death, his name is that much a part of WV. This now has him gone and Mollohan lost in the primary, good to have them gone, sorry about the death being the cause of Byrd leaving.

My prediction is that Gov. Manchin, another big political name in WV will appoint none other than himself to serve the remaining term. This may seen outrageous to some, but I think it will be easily accepted in WV were he to do that. I am sure he aspires to be a senator and maybe higher, the man has done an excellent job running WV and I have voted for him both times.

Watched NBC tonight and their shows regarding the spill are becoming more grave, yet they lack the criticism of the government that were present when Katrina was the big story. And, why is that? Well, figure it out yourself, it is so obvious to me I have rambled on and on about it in here many times. It is a growing mess and there seems to be no urgency for the government to take the lead. I guess the difference is that BP is involved and ONO feels comfortable calling them on the carpet for 20 billion, well, be careful, they go bankrupt and what a mess that would be.

And I haven't forgotten, where are the jobs created by the stimulus?

6-26-10 I had someone who is trying to find any and everything to justify their having voted for ONO last election. They have been very quite of course and have conceded that, well, things aren't going all that well. However, they got all excited and said that ONO firing the general was "very presidential". I'm not sure if they came up with that themselves or if they read it in the paper, I saw in the paper where it said that his firing of the general was a very presidential action. OK

If firing a critic who states that you and all those working for you on the strategy in the Afghan war are on the wrong course, uninformed, not knowledgable enough to make decisions, incompetent, no military experience and a few other things, is a "presidential" action.... Then it is none other than a "presidential" action cause he just done it indeed he did. He called me stupid, so I fired him! That'll show em I am the president!

Fact is, what the general said still remains, he said it because he was fed up with the incompetence he had to deal with and knows full well that he must step forward and make something happen by his actions. You think this general didn't know what he was doing? Come on! He knew full well what he said and to whom and what would happen when he said it, he had his letter of resignation prepared when he was summoned to see ONO and didn't say anything other than that it was not right to say these things out loud, but he didn't take back what he said because it is TRUE!

Firing someone for telling you that you are ill prepared to hold your office is not being presidential! The problem still remains.....

6-23-10 One thing is consistent, time and time again ONO and his fellow DIM's prove that they are not capable of running the country or managing issues. We now have a general who said what is true about ONO and his people, in that none of them know squat about running the military in Afghan and the general's comments were reported by a hot shot reporter who did so to make a exclusive report and to make a name for himself. The reporter will have his 5 minutes of fame doing so, but the general's true statement will likely cost him his job.

The military is being run by an administration that can't handle an oil leak, can't create jobs with billions being spent every day, and ONO is going to dress down this general for his comments? He was elected by idiots who voted for him, suddenly he became commander in chief, peter principal big time folks!

My guess is the general will resign, I would, I would not back down having told the truth, I would not cow toe to ONO and his bruised ego. The truth is the truth, ONO is incompetent and demonstrates that he is each day.

6-16-10 This is interesting, I actually saw where some news was critical of ONO and his oval office speech last night. Stating the obvious that he has no idea, no plan, no clue and he was not acting as a leader. Well, surprise, surprise surprise.... Maybe they noticed! That would be a first, their favorite party has a leader as inept as Carter was and there doesn't seem to be anyone around to help him figure out how to lead. Could it be the czars and advisors he has provided favors to that are just plain stupid like him? Or, is it ONO and his "I am president, so therefore I am" attitude? Whatever the case, for over a year now the man elected by the majority of the people as their "Hope" has time and time again proven to be a "Dope"... No surprise here

Using this oil disaster as a means to push through their cap and trade legislation is all that they see now. We have a oil leak spewing a gazillion gallons of oil into the ocean, so lets stop using oil and use windmills to power or houses. But, do you think that might be a wee bit down the road? What do we do about the gazillion cars that need gas? ONO didn't address that, just hype, words that flow easily out of his mouth, no solutions, no ideas, p poor response to this disaster and maybe now, just maybe people will begin to notice and add this to the list.

Somebody write and tell me one thing that ONO has accomplished? One good thing?

6-14-10 I guess I am repeating myself here, but it is all that I can do. It baffles me the dual standards that we apparently have, all of which is controlled by the main stream media. The press decides what we see, hear, know and how we react. The free ride ONO has gotten regarding the oil spill, you know as well as I do that were it not a DIM president it would be outrageous. The upcoming hidden costs and changes to health care, as created by the bill just passed are not being discussed. The economy and the fact that it is still hurting and not recovering. The stimulus package, remember that? No talk at all, no results, it flopped as predicted and where did all the money go?

ONO is going to do a prime time news conference, with a well prepared speech he will come across as a concerned hard working president with regard to the oil spill. This all will come as a result of his staff finally realizing that he needs to address this issue for publicity sake. Truth is, there is nothing he can do about it except like you and I stand on the sideline and hope they figure out how to stop it and soon. So was the situation in LA from Katrina, Bush could only stand by and tell everyone to work hard, use all resources, except he got hammered and ONO doesn't.

Which by the way, why do we not see anything on TV with regard to the flooding in TN last month? Do you suppose it is because the people there don't expect to have the government wipe their ass every day for them?

Saw a thing on facebook where you express your desire to have all subsistence recipients required to take a drug test and pass it or lose their checks. Think that will pass? Never with all the liberals out there. Would save us billions, create jobs for people to do the testing, etc... Never happen because it makes perfect sense.

As a new SC resident it is amusing that a unknown Dim candidate won the primary outright with 60% of the vote. It seems that the DIM party of SC didn't bother to even check this fellow out. He beat a serving politician and nobody even knew him, met with him, checked anything on him. Now they are scrambling to figure out what to do as he is the one who will run against the republican DeMitt. What you want to bet that they will find a way to alter their own rules again to fit the situation and give the election to the guy that they want to run.

6-6-10 I think we now have proof positive that the Republican's do not carp and squeal and complain hardly at all when compared to the DIM's. Can you imagine the outrage and the ire and the non stop news reporting that would be going on right now were Bush or any other Republican in office and in control of this oil spill? Where is Clinton, Kerry and all the other DIM's who lined up time after time, falling all over themselves for the opportunity to jump on Bush when the flu shots were late, when Katrina hit and every other incident large or small occurred. No response from the government they said, poor leadership. Well? What do we have now?

5-28-10 Have you noticed that the idiot we have for president is still simply and completely out of touch? It appears to me that if it is an issue that he likes, or owes a favor on, or meets the liberal agenda, then there is some pushing. Yet, the very thing he criticized Bush over, in the very same area is happening, as in lack of government response. He did say "plug the damn leak". Well, all good that he said that, but his plate is full. N. Korea, oil leak, euro failing, economy not recovering, unemployment not improving, wall street struggling, offering jobs to people not to run against his buddy and several more, I'll elaborate at a later date... And, his leadership is front and center?, which will happen sometime after his vacation in Chicago I suppose.

And, to top it all off, he will break the tradition of the president being at Arlington cemetery on memorial day, instead he is going on vacation. I can't justify that, it is what we expect, he could take the time but he has chosen, this speaks volumes as to what he feels and thinks about our military and the respect that is necessary from the commander in chief on the one day of the year we honor them with a holiday.

5-22-10 I'm not a world traveler, but I do know that if I as a US citizen were to visit a foreign country, that I would have to abide by their laws, that I would not be a citizen or eligible for any of their benefits unless I became a citizen. And, even after becoming a citizen I am not sure if I would qualify for any benefits since I was originally a US citizen. I also know that Islamic countries are very strict. Have they not stoned women for minor offenses such as showing her face or being some place she shouldn't. When a US citizen, a lady, visits one of those countries, she is required to wear appropriate clothing and abide by the rules. I also know that their laws apply to the visitor when they are in their country. If you break a law, commit a crime or make a mistake against their customs and rules then there is a punishment, fine or you go to jail. The fact that you are from the US has no bearing on anything, you do the time or pay the fine.

Why all the ramble about this? Well, what I described above actually makes sense. If you visit Mexico, or France, or a Islamic country, then you should expect to abide by their rules. If you go to Australia, you will have to drive on the opposite side of the road or your in big trouble. If they speak another language, you either have to know it, learn it or get a translator, and all of this makes perfect sense. After all, you are visiting their country and as a guest you should expect to abide by your host's rules and laws.

Now we come to the current uproar about the Arizona law change where they will question someone if they are legal if they suspect that they are not. What a bunch of crap, protests being organized, claims that their rights are being tramped on. What friggin rights? If your illegal then you have no rights. If I had the power I'd herd all the protestors together and check their cards and ship a couple hundred buses down the road with them in it, the protests would stop pretty quick I bet.... What a bunch of crap! If I were to go to Mexico and cross the border illegally and get caught, I'd go to jail. What is the difference? Is it because there are so many of them over here now that they can mass protest knowing their aren't enough cops around to arrest all of them? Evidently, and it has the jerks in Washington yo-yoing on what to do about it, they know they should close the borders, crack down on the illegal's and send them back, but, they want their jobs so they are willing to compromise yet again their values.

Illegals are costing us so much money for the bi-lingual schools, medical care and other things that we could possibly even afford ONO's health care for the lazy program if we got rid of all of them.

Aren't you proud to support all these people?

5-20-10 As we see some of the election results now, it appears that some people do have at least a short term memory and several well established jerk-o's got the ole heave ho... I am especially pleased to see Mollohan of WV getting the boot, that idiot needed to go and I am pleased to see it finally happen. Maybe listening to the people instead of playing party lines might be a better approach for some in the future. Next WV needs to get rid of Rockerfeller, he needs to retire and spend some of that money he inherited.

I saw a mail come my way that indicated an increase in taxes coming where if you have employer health care, working or retired, that you will be taxed on the value of that insurance cost. I sure hope that isn't true, some of this stuff floating around is not always accurate, I hope that is one that is way off base, but, the mail presented a good case.. That won't be good, will certainly hurt me and many others as we pay more to buy insurance for those who will not even look for a job. What would be wrong with the idea that if you do receive free health care, that you actually have to do something to earn it. Like 4 hours on a weekend doing a public service project, a little work, get some things done, every city could use a few crews a few hours each week to clean things up at least. That would be asking to much though I suppose, we have given so many people so much money and expect absolutely nothing in return except their vote, no need to change course now...

5-17-10 I still find it interesting the lack of news coverage and outrage over the oil spill. The press sure acts differently when "their" party is in control. You know as well as I do that if a GOP person was in control the news would be 24/7 on their failure to control the spill. And, did you notice that Nashville had a flood, I was looking for a report of people standing in a stadium crying help, help, help, but guess they can take care of themselves.

I think the nominee for the supreme court might very well be a good choice, I think ONO screwed that up, atta boy!

More money being created to bail out yet another financial issue, this time in Greece. GM airs a commercial that they have paid back the loan, when they have not, unemployment remains high and all I see are cuts coming up for school systems and state and local government systems. Also see the rate increase requests from utility companies and if you haven't noticed, prices continue to edge up on nearly all items.

5-11-10 The sky is falling team is in power, so perhaps that explains why we are not seeing outrage over the unemployment rate or the nearly 3 million gallon oil spill in the gulf. During the election, ONO and his cronies pointed out that the economy was unacceptable, that unemployment at almost 6% was an absolute outrage. Now the economy is 3 quarters into what ONO calls a recovery and unemployment is over 9%. And, during the campaign ONO went on and on about the failure of Bush to respond to the needs of Katrina victims. Well, are they any better off today? And, what is the response to the oil spill by ONO and his people. Do you recall the comments, the articles in the press about unemployment, about the hurricane and the damage, well, where is the outrage today? I guess the outrage is from me?

5-10-10 A few comments regarding the outrage from the DIM's and liberals with regard to Arizona's new method on checking to verify citizenship to crack down on illegal's in our country.

First let me say that every single person that is a US citizen by birth has at one or more times in their lives made a negative comment about all the illegals in our country. It might be one of many such as their getting free medical care, taking jobs, having to push 1 for english or a hundred others. If you are reading this and say you haven't, then your a damn liar....

The legal age to vote is what? The legal age to drink is what? Do we verify this at stores that sell booze and when you register to vote? Is that profiling? At a certain age a male must register for the selective service. Is that something that illegals are required to do? Is it legal to drink and drive? If you look intoxicated walking out of a bar and get into a car and the cops stop you is that profiling? If you walk past a law enforcement officer and you appear to be on something or smell like your on something, booze or drugs, and they stop you, is that profiling?

Get my point? It is OK to have rules and laws as long as the liberal DIM's and illegal's agree, and those rules and laws are the ones that apply to US born citizens only.

5-8-10 Am I the only one who recalls the harsh condemning words that the DIM's used in various campaigns for president and other elected offices with regard to the high unemployment rate created by the Republican's. Well? Since the DIM's are the party of power and have passed several pieces of their agenda, when will the record high unemployment rate be addressed?

Or, is this yet another item that they will slick spin to blame this on the other party with their flock of followers who don't seem to listen or care about the facts?

5-7-10 If you need evidence that our economy is on shaky ground then just take a look at the stock markets and their reactions to other countries dealing with their debt. The similarities are scary in that Greece and other countries are now having to deal with a debt they acquired by borrowing money to stay afloat. Does that mean that the US at some point in time will also have to deal with its debt? You bet your bottom dollar we will and just simply printing money will not be the solution anymore.

All this is being ignored despite the federal reserve warnings that one day we will face a crisis. It is time that we send some signals that new office holders will be in Washington. Getting mixed signals on that, how quickly some people seem to forget or how some people choose to ignore the obvious. I really really want to be wrong on this...

5-4-10 I am still staying busy every day getting settled into our new home. Have got a lot done but still have a long way to go. As a result I am very limited time wise, I miss my news!

One thing I missed is the article where they blame Bush for the oil spill in the Gulf? I'm sure it is out there somewhere. I also have missed the outrage over the ONO crew not responding to the spill in an effective manner. Where is the outrage? I think maybe there is no outrage because the party of outrage is in charge, you think?

I see some articles speculating on the recovery, yet where are the jobs? Car sales have dropped, people are still out of work, I'm doing my part spending a fortune at Lowe's :) but I can't do it alone :)

Bear with me folks, I miss not being informed but I am having fun working on getting the new place in order, I think we are going to really like it here in SC.

4-22-10 I was amused by the news this evening where it is reported that many states are having severe budget problems and one area they are cutting is teachers. Now I don't like this idea any more than you do, but they indicated that in New York, Illinois and California they were cutting combined for the 3 states somewhere around 50,000 jobs...

Why am I amused? Well, it is because the teachers union always supports the DIM's and look what is happening. Well, to me the reason is obvious, they will blame Bush, Reagan, the pope or someone other than ONO for this. Might it be that they should blame themselves? NAWH that'll never happen I assure you, but still I am amused and I hope this leads to some fiscal responsibility for their states, all 3 of which are broke. As I said a couple days ago, we continue to ignore the economy, well, the economy is not just going to fix itself...

I've said this on here before several times where I am simply floored when I learn that someone I know is a DIM thinker. And this happened again a couple days ago. You think you know someone and you think they are relatively intelligent yet you get surprised. I don't have time to listen to their lame attempts to justify their reason based upon their life experiences.

4-20-10 What we continue to ignore is that the economy is under severe pressure and an ever increasing debt. People need jobs, to create jobs you have to allow a business to control its own business and ultimately make a profit. These ever increasing regulations and new taxes for health care, cap and trade and new regulations are not going to help with a recovery. Many said several months back that this could very easily be a double dip recession, with the second dip more severe than the first. We seem to be just cruising along, the DIM's are in control and we can do nothing. A volcano has erupted in Europe, we may have one here soon to deal with with and it won't be raining ash, it will be raining debt...

4-11-10 Well, we are SC residents now and making very slow progress on unpacking all these boxes. It will all get done in its time but that is going to be a couple months down the road yet let me tell you.

Haven't had much time to follow the news, good thing too or I would have had a lengthy speal about the nuke nonsense ONO came up with and numerous other comments as well. I'm just in my own little world here for the next few weeks so you guys need to keep an eye on the idiot for me until I can get my feet back on the ground.

4-1-10 I've been retired now for TWO years! And what a mess things have become during that period of time with our government. Still we wonder if ONO is a true citizen, yet we ignore that and continue to allow ONO and his DIM gang change our country forever by putting us into debt beyond belief.

Just a few days ago I eluded to the costs for business this new obamanation health plan is causing and how they are just now getting a look see at the bill. Well, here we go with a list of charges that companies are now announcing for their upcoming quarter. Charges? Yes, a business can take a charge against its profit when it must comply with new laws and or have other expenses for the company. What this does is it takes money straight away out of their wallet, out of the stock holders wallet and it is money that they will not pay tax on. Let me repeat that last part. IT IS MONEY THEY WILL NOT PAY TAXES ON..... Read that last part in capital letters again, real slow...

Here is the list so far that I have seen and the amount each company will take.

AT&T 1 Billion, with a B...
John Deere 150 million
Boeing 150 million
Caterpillar 100 million
Prudential 100 million
3M 90 million
Honeywell 13 million
ITW 22 million
Valero 15 million
Goodrich 10 million
ATI 5 million

Lets see, that is 1 BILLION 655 MILLIION bucks of charges taken by these 11 companies and there are a couple more companies out there (intended as a joke, there are thousands) and some big ones too that are still crunching numbers.

This is 1 billion 655 million dollars that no tax will be paid on, it is LOST revenue for the country. They simply write it off and do not, repeat, do not pay taxes on this money. I haven't a clue what tax rate they would be paying but it easily is 10%, more like 20% but lets keep it low, that is a whole hunk of change in lost taxes putting us further in the hole.

Hey, the obamanation health care program is working pretty slick so far, at least they are getting the 10% extra tax from the tanning salons...

3-31-10 See in the news where ONO has finally had someone write a statement for him that he will allow some new off shore drilling for oil. Well, about dam time let me tell you. Perhaps that idea was inspired when they found out that Russia is beginning to drill near Cuba. Russia who has vast oil reserves already, has and continues to gobble up as much as they can in territory for future drilling, such as in the Arctic (Bush didn't do well on that issue). And they are smart enough not to use up their easily accessible reserves. Bottom line is that at some point down the road, the Russian's will control all the oil. What a position that will be...

There are tooooo many people in this world for the earth to provide for all of us the resources that we need. We need to start building Nuke plants and dozens of them, coal is our biggest resource and it does pollute but we need to continue to work to clean it up, use it as much as possible while we build the Nuke plants. The tree huggers who are afraid of pollution should go over to China, India and some of the other countries for a few weeks and smell their air, just because we clean up some things here doesn't mean that they will, we still need and use plants to make things and they pollute, now over there instead of over here. Closing a plant here only creates one somewhere else, they just don't get it...

Speaking of too many people, my theory on that is that the dumb and entitled are breeding to many kids. Harsh thing to say I know, but have you ever watched Judge Judy? Tell you what, you will see some of the dumbest people in the world on that show!

3-29-10 In a week my wife and I will fulfill a long time dream of ours by moving south to SC. We have looked upon this with great anticipation, having had numerous talks about what we want and what we would like to do, being closer to at least one of our kids, etc... We now have a new house down there waiting on us, our many years of hard work and saving have provided us with this opportunity. And, being conservative, we never did live beyond our means. If we wanted something, we discussed it, if we agreed that we "needed" it, then we looked at how we could buy it. None of this just go out and buy it stuff here, if we could not afford it, we didn't "need" it is our rule. As a result, when I retired, we felt we were in a good position to realize our long sought after dream.

Now as the time is here, we are somewhat apprehensive. The stock market took a nose dive, causing us to loose some of our savings like many others. Property value dropped here as well as everywhere else, course we got a little of that back with the purchase of our new home but not what we should expect I will tell you. But, we are still OK, we are behind where we want to be, but we will survive....

That is unless....

I have written about this before if you read my ranting. How the DIM's the last election entered office with a very cocky attitude and a do as I saw agenda. They had a long list of things they wanted to get done with nearly all of them being some form of entitlement expansion or creation. Such as the health care bill, being nearly 1/6th of our total economy that no doubt is the biggest, but there are many others. Bail outs, unemployment extensions, home loan extensions and forgiveness, cash for clunkers and several I am sure I have forgotten already. All give someone money for something they are in debt for. So, it could be argued that this person who went to far into debt to buy a house gets money from you and I to help them recover from their mistake, while you and I have lived within our means and get nothing.

Anyway, won't beat the drum too long today, basically what I am trying to say is that a bunch of the excitement and thrill of a major change in our life we have planned for is gone. Due to the uncertainty of the economy, the ramifications of what the health care bill will bring not only to our insurance bill but the increased costs it will generate to the economy makes us worry. We also worry about how we will pay for all the give away programs already used up, and how since we have no money to pay for them, how are we going to pay for the new ones being forced upon us by the ONO gang.

I guess it might be because it is cloudy and dreary here today that I am thinking this way.

3-27-10 Well, what did we see on the news today. Saw where numerous companies are coming out with the estimates that ONO care will cost them to comply with. Seems there has been a failure by several big companies to pay attention, or is it because nobody got to see the bill until it was passed? Caterpillar seemed to know, but now Verizon, AT&T and 3M just to name a few have gotten a look see also. Millions, billions, some changes will have to be made, will it be increased costs, charges against earnings (I think AT&T has already announced a billion dollar charge for the next quarter), reduced benefits, dropping coverage for retiree's, lay offs... ?? Well, don't know just yet, but I can assure you that they will do at least one or more of what I have mentioned.

Did you see this on the news? Not unless you watch Fox or read Drudge you didn't. Main stream media is to busy hyping it up about DIM's being abused by irate voters. Some say that is their attempt to get sympathy, win favor, receive contributions and otherwise make themselves the feel sorry for them party once again.

Nobody read the dam bill, because it was written in several places and assembled for a vote, I am willing to bet that not a single DIM read what they voted for and that they are being somewhat surprised as it comes to light now.

Castro for whatever reason came out and said he was in favor of it. What? That appeared on the main stream media, who the hell cares what that idiot thinks? Evidently the main stream press does care more for what he says than what the people here have to say...

We are so far off track I am beginning to worry we might never get back...

3-24-10 Wow, a bit of a surprise, I have a counter at the bottom of this page, which I know doesn't work correctly and never has. I messed with it a few times but never could get it right, it is provided by my server and I really don't care what the number is, I just do this for my own reasons. Well, I had to log onto my server for some other business and saw the statistics section. I went there and I had forgotten that they broke down each and every page that is hit each day. My site is out dated, I hope to load more photos after we move, but I went to look at the ONO section. WOW! That day this page had been hit 330 times! I am loved after all! :) Thanks for viewing, please return often! If we stick together and don't forget what just happened, we can make a difference come November!

They, meaning my duly elected representatives from my current State of WV as well as the majority of other DIM's elected, continue to ignore the key issue that is at this moment causing our country trouble. And, that my friends is JOBS! Rather than address this issue with what could be a number of solutions and stimulus projects, the ONO gang has spent a year passing a bill that over half the people do not want and nobody understands. At this moment we only know one thing for certain and that is if you go to a tanning salon, the price went up 10% yesterday... They talk about how the new bill will force insurance companies to cover more people, bring in those with existing conditions, cover kids for a long time and their other sound good sound bites they are airing on TV. Yet, there is no mention of the new taxes that are going into play, the new requirements for an employer to carry insurance for people or increase the coverage for their people. They mandate that companies who have a certain number of employees must now cover them with health insurance. They mandate that States must pay for the extra costs that the bill generates. OK, what a plan... You now have a situation where employers including the States have to address what they can afford. Unlike the DIM's, some people have a budget that they must follow. If you can not pay for something, then something has to give. As simple as someone going to the tanning salon, if that 10% increase is to much for them then they will stop going. Same with a business or State, if they have to pay for insurance they can not budget, then what do you suppose will happen? They will down size their employees. Or, they will contract multiple small companies to do their work to avoid compliance they can not afford.

I'm always opposing the ONO gangs ideas, but something has slipped in here that I too a point agree with. I find it funny as hell that the liberal DIM's haven't had a problem with this. To control this monster they created, they are going to have to account for people. At some point each person who goes under ONO care is going to have to get a document showing who they are, where they live and that they have coverage. My understanding is that this will be handled by the IRS or an agency connected with the IRS. Rut Roe! Where are the ACLU criers now? Is this not a violation of their rights? You keep this crap up and they may only be able to vote once. They may only be able to get one care check each month. They may have to account for their income and file taxes???? Their disability that they claim may be cured by going to the doctor? Hmmm, a slight glimmer of hope. Do you suppose a doctor seeing a disabled patient might say, hey, your not actually disabled. Doc might get shot that night, but if he doesn't do you suppose he will send in paperwork saying the person is not disabled? Interesting idea, if applied correctly this part of the bill could actually save a few bucks. But, as clever as they are, those that milk the system will find a way around this little accountability idea. I've always said, that if you made everybody who received an entitlement check appear in person once a year that you would reduce the number on welfare by a million easily as they do not exist.

3-23-10 I have watched several very nice commercials today being put out to help sell the health care program. It sure makes use of the "free" "Now your covered" angle. Which makes me wonder, why do I have to continue to pay for my health care when others will get theirs for free? Shouldn't I now get health care for free? I've had it all along and I am grateful for that, but I have paid my way all these years, when do I get it for free?

Now with their victory the ONO gang of DIM's will go after the "Cap and Trade" legislation. Yet another enormous cost to business and ultimately to the consumer which is you and I. We want the air to be pure and health care to be free. We'll send all our industry overseas and they can pollute and have bad health care. Something wrong with that plan....

3-22-10 I am so disappointed I could just spit! I watched the actual vote last night hoping that there would be a surprise but there wasn't. The back room deals got their votes and now during the next few weeks and months we will begin to learn the impact and the cost of this social medicine scheme they have passed. I can only hope that the senate can do something to stop this but I don't know what that would be. I also don't know what the repeal process would be once ONO signs this bill.

My March 31st challenge is still valid, it has taken longer for them to pass their plans and as such I now re-issue the challenge to you. Take a look now at your current costs for everything, wait until next year when the new taxes and fees go into effect.

3-10-10 ONO is out on the road campaigning again and his message is simply a plan to distract the real package. He is hitting on the one thing that we all can agree upon and that is the cost of health care. He is not even talking about how much his plan will cost taxpayers if it is implemented. Misleading as hell yet again! They are also putting on their shows where they have hired protestors stage rallies. That is simply the truth. The tea party protests are made up of concerned citizens on their own they go out and gather while the DIM demonstrations are arranged, signs are made and given to use, union members make up the majority to work for their special health care provision in ONO's plan.

We are hitting the highway tomorrow for 10 days or so, by the time we get back this bill will either be a law or dead. Since this will be my last rant until somewhere around the 20th, let me end it by saying I hope and pray that something stops this bill. It is going to cause a crash if it is passed, in a crash a lot of people get hurt, this is the whole US, visualize our US as a car, millions of people on board, millions will be hurt! Lets pray something stops it!

3-9-10 I think we can take a practice being used for elections over in Iraq. It would be an excellent idea for everyone that votes to dip their finger in ink after voting. It would be a source of pride, identify that you have voted, would probably increase voter turnout and best of all help prevent some from voting more than once. But, since we are so focused in this country on what is wrong with an idea, it would be shot down quickly by liberal's who would claim that this is some form of a negative reflection upon them. In other words they have their crew who wants to vote more than once. Just an idea... :)

3-6-10 Sometime ago I commented on how stupid I thought it was for GM to force a couple thousand dealerships out of business with their restructuring program. I pointed out that this restructuring was being guided by none other than ONO's advisors who had no prior experience running anything much less a auto maker. Thousands of jobs lost I pointed out and how stupid it was to close dealers who BOUGHT GM CARS TO SELL! Put a DUH after it too!.....

It seems that decisions in the ONO administration are made quickly and without much thought to the consequences, it is a true testament to how power will pump up your ego and make you think that you have superior intelligence simply by the position you hold. Peter Principal yet again.

This decision is being reversed now, common sense has prevailed, they are going to let some of the dealers back. But there are still some major problems with this way of operating. Cash for clunkers, cost $8.00 for every dollar saved regarding fuel consumption getting rid of those old cars. Proposing the trial for the terrorist in NY has cost millions and nothing happened, they just talked about it and now that may be reversed. Same with the new terrorist prison in IL, renovations cost money, will it happen? And there are many more, coal power plants have been closing, anticipating legislation that will force them to close. Health insurance costs climb, same fear, legislation.

Now, health care is on the verge, same logic, we have the majority, we know best, lets pass it no matter what because we know better. They state they have 50% of the people supporting it. Well, when you figure that half the country is on some form of welfare, yes, they of course want free health insurance. Why not, I would too... Might find myself in that position soon enough... And, in this case the public who works will have a sweet treat to deal with if it does pass. A 7.5% tax increase. They are letting the 5% Bush tax cut expire and it is projected that health care will cause an immediate 2.5% increase. But, we know that is wrong as their track record is wrong so it will be higher than 7.5%

I have talked about it before on here, a second dip recession. We look and see that the cards are falling in the wrong places, if this health care crap passes it is going to jolt the economy in a negative way. That could very easily take us over the line to something deeper than a recession. And, even worse, the rest of the world is going to react to this, finances as we know it may change forever.

Nice thoughts for our first sunny Saturday of the year.... Sigh!....

3-5-10 Do you realize that every working person right now already supports their own family and one other person? The entitlement programs created in the past have become a way of life for generations of "entitled" families whose sole purpose in life is to create a baby to generate more income for themselves. There are people out there who are in their 20's who have a disability for life income based upon nothing. They live in areas where it is easier for the case worker to simply grant them the disability rather than prove they really have a case.

Now it appears that the ONO and DIM plan to socialize our medical system is going to pass. Basically only a act of God can stop it as I see it now. No matter what, no matter who, no matter anything, they are going to pass it.

At that point, it will be close to every working person adding yet another person that they must support. I have no idea the logic behind this, how can you do this when we do not have the money? Quality of care is going to suffer, it is going to get confusing as hell and very complicated and frustrating.

And, while all this is going on, what is happening on the side lines? Kerry has come out saying that he believes that the restrictions on gays donating blood should be relaxed... Good grief!

Do you see a pattern here? As in DIM's are dumber than hell?

3-2-10 We are hearing a lot about the DIM plan to use "reconciliation" to get their health care bill passed. I have used many phrases during the past couple of months like ram it through, jam it, force feed and on and on, but we are not at the new phase of "stick it in our ear!".

The DIM's cite instances where the Republican's have used it to pass legislation, saying if they can do it we can too. Well, bit different how it was used in the past as compared to using it now to change a major portion of our budget! But no matter to the DIM's, whatever it takes is how they will proceed. Pelosi has said that passing the bill is what she wants the DIM's to do, don't worry about getting re-elected (I agree on that) but she also means, don't consider what the majority of the US wants, vote it in!

So, I did a look up in ole Webster and found that reconciliation is the state of being reconciled... So, I go to reconciled and what do I find? I find as a meaning for a hardship situation (this applies don't you think?) the following: "To cause to submit to or accept something unpleasant."

Translated that means "Stick it in our ear!"

Pretty much nailed that one huh?

2-28-10 OK, ONO had his meeting, ONO said he wanted to know what the Republican's had to say, instead, he talked more than they did. He even talked more than the DIM's did. When called on this he showed his arrogance by saying that he was the president. After all that time, hours of talking, not listening, it still remains very simple, the one thing ONO just doesn't understand is that......

WE CAN'T AFFORD IT!!!!!!!!!!! DAM!!!!!!!!!!

ONO says that he is discouraged, because the Republican's fail to see the whole picture and appear that they are not ready to give up ground for his plan. You won't listen!

WE CAN'T AFFORD IT!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!

How is it that the DIM's say that the Republican's are the party of NO? They are not saying no they are saying...

WE CAN'T AFFORD IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumb Asses!!!!!!!!

OK, enough of that...

Why do you think everybody with health insurance has seen an increase in their rates this year? Why do you think that everybody looking to buy insurance this year has found the rates higher and more difficult to qualify? Could it possibly be that with this health care law looming over their heads that the insurance companies are raising rates to prepare for future issues and making it more difficult for people to get insurance?

This crap is causing problems with health care, money wise and otherwise... Think you have problems now, wait and see if it passes...

2-25-10 I had the pleasure of meeting a young lady yesterday on the phone. I had sent an e-mail to get information that I needed and she subsequently called me to provide assistance. She quickly provided all the information I needed and I was very pleased to deal with such a capable person to respond to my questions.

During the conversation we had friendly chatter and she asked if I was retired, I told her yes and she said something that really struck home. She said she hoped to retire some day but with Obama she was afraid that she would have to work forever. Or words to that effect.

I passed along to her my opinion of ONO and asked her if she knew what the "Peter Principal" was. She did not but did a look up and later responded that she agreed with my assessment of ONO.

I've thought about this for awhile now since our talk and to me she represents what our younger people are facing now days. She is aware of the changes, she is alert, informed and in control of her life, she realizes that the changes they are trying to force feed our country will have a significant negative impact on her, possibly causing her to have to work the rest of her life just to keep up. Sadly though, a growing number of others her age are oblivious to this, or they simply don't care, they are sitting at home with their anticipation of free medical care, more free money each month and having babies.

Now what kind of position is that to be in? How the hell did we get in this fix anyway? What happened to earning what you have and working hard to get ahead? Terri realizes that is what she needs to do, yet she also realizes that the clown in the white house is trying to take that away from her.

Terri, it was a pleasure to meet you, we'll communicate in the future and we'll both keep the faith that common sense will ultimately prevail!

2-23-10 It won't be long before we move out of WV to SC. But, even with the move we will not forget the importance of WV in the coal industry. What blows my mind though is how the DIM senators from WV continue to fall all over themselves being nice to ONO when ONO if he had his way would basically eliminate the use of coal as we know it. It would become so expensive to burn that costs would be out of sight and the loss of jobs in WV and other coal states would be huge.

The governor of WV was even at a meeting with ONO and praised his plans on health care. Well, I'm not a politician for sure as I would not be up their praising him on one thing while knowing full well he is trying to kill the income for my state on another issue.

Every state is hurting money wise, brought on by mismanagement from the feds and the states. Additional loss of jobs or the implementation of policies or laws that create job losses is not in our best interest right now.

I can't play their game!

I also see a controversial meeting coming up in WV with regard to an increase on beer. I had no idea how they taxed it but it is by the barrel. Right now it is $1.00 per barrel and they want to increase it to $5.00 per barrel. Again, I have to question and wonder why when you need more money and you raise taxes on things, why do you go to such an extreme? Why not ask for just a 100% increase and not a %400 increase? And you wonder why people get pissed off? I know, the gambit is to ask for 5 and settle for 3 and both sides feel like they did well in the negotiations.. But that is quite an increase in one fell swoop!

When we move we will have to adjust to SC politics, it is a Republican state and we have a lot to learn about them.

2-22-10 We see press reports of a summit to include the GOP input, yet if you read it closely you see that what the DIM's mean is that they will have a summit and its purpose for the GOP attending is to get on board with what the DIM's have written. We'll have a meeting so you can agree. That falls a bit short of accepting conservative input...

Many times I have said in these my rant pages that changes should be made slowly. A massive overhaul of a system designed by either party is not wise. As of this moment, 42 states have sent to Washington their concerns in writing about the infringement upon state rights if they pass massive legislation. Bottom line is that the states do not want the fed's to pass laws that they the state has to pay for.

All this meet and greet and get along talk sounds fine, it is what the press is suppose to report at this time, however there have been few changes, still no Republican input, ONO and his cronies still will not listen to the people.

I read an article today regarding ONO failing to complete yet another promise he made of having more open press conferences than Bush did. Yet today marks what they count as the 215th day since ONO last met with open mike with the white house press to answer their questions. It is said that the last time he met with them he was burned badly when he had negative comments about the cops who arrested that black professor. Well, no surprise to me, if the man doesn't have a teleprompter to read he is at a loss, people made fun of Bush and some of his remarks at press conferences like that, ONO has the solution, simply don't have them...

2-19-10 A relatively quite week was interrupted yesterday when a crazy person in TX flew his plane into a government building. It seems he had been planning to do this for awhile as he posted on line a lengthy tirade suicide note protesting his treatment by the government. I did not read it, I have only seen news reports on pieces of what he wrote. What I did hear as reported by the press actually did not make any sense so far.

I was going to write about what I think this means to our country today, but, before I do that I will address what I saw this morning first. In less than 24 hours the liberal media has attached this persons actions to the tea party. Well, first off I am not sure exactly whom they mean when they say tea party, it isn't as of yet an official "party" but only a name given to the movement by people who have organized to protest the ONO and government spend without reason agenda. Anyway, it didn't take them long to try to attach the actions of a obviously mentally ill person to the tea party movement. This of course is an attempt to stick a label to the movement that if you are a member of the tea party you are obviously crazy. Will it work? Probably, the media is still a very powerful force, it is already out there and the tirade that this idiot wrote is nothing more than mumble jumble. They can take excerpts of what he said and make them mean exactly what they want to try to prove their point. We'll see, but my guess is that this will from now on be a talking point against the tea party people by the press.

My initial thoughts when he crashed the Cherokee into the building was that, oh ooohh, here we go, the press will have this all over the news, cover it in their "thorough" way, describe what can be put on the plane to make it a bigger bomb, tell that the smaller airports are not guarded, provide the location of the thousands of small airports we have and ultimately provide flying instructions on line... This falls in line with my opinion of the press making hero's out of the crazy people who do these kind of things. Shootings in school, the press in reporting at great length about these stories have created "copycat" incidents. They harp and harp on it, the person who did it and basically make them a hero in the eyes of other crazy people. Then some other clown wanting some attention or a moment of glory copies what has been done and tries to make it bigger and more spectacular than the one before.

I am a inactive single engine pilot, in fact I trained on the very same plane he flew into the building. I flew out of a local small airport that has absolutely no security what so ever. I could go out there, in the dark of the night, get in the plane and if I could start it simply take off and nobody would have a clue unless somebody happened to hear me take off or be up and see me take off. Point is, there are thousands of small airports, hundreds of thousands of small aircraft that are no more difficult to operate than a car. Get in there, load it up with a bunch of fuel, have a full tank and you have a mini bomb airborne.

What will happen now is that a copycat will do this within the next 6 months or so. Ultimately there will have to be a big time change at all the small airports all over the US. This act won't go unnoticed, fly a plane into a nuke plant, refinery, other business places, maximum impact, loss of life, glory and favor in the press.

2-13-10 For all my avid readers :) I am back home now after a nice vacation. I have pondered what to write, after making corrections to format this page from the mistake I made earlier, hopefully it looks better now and you don't get a warning when you come here. Anyway, about all I can say at the moment is that the past week has been a very good week actually. What with all the snow, they are shut down, so no bull crap coming from ONO and his cronies and I feel so much better because of that. It isn't a good idea to wish time would pass quickly, but that is where we are right now, lets get to the November elections pronto...

Saw a comment from my high school group where a couple ladies wrote that they believe Fox news is biased toward the Republican's. Well, if your a idiot you might think that. They take to task any and all who are in government, these ladies need to remove their "I am a DIM no matter what" mentality and watch the shows for awhile and they will see that Fox will kick a Republicans ass too.

Interesting their comments too, might be because Fox is gaining big time on the main stream media, people are paying attention more now, still need to work on that but it is getting better. These two ladies need to join the growing majority and pay attention to what is happening in our world.

* Our Disclaimer * We are re-writing this on 8-10-09 as I accidently deleted it when updating the page one day and didn't notice until now. Basically, I write this rant because I am afraid of what I see is happening. I am concerned, I am alarmed. I can not understand why others do not see this like I do, that regardless of party or the person, the spending of our money for all these give away programs is wrong. Is has not worked in the past and will not work in the future, continuing to do so will cause severe problems. My disclaimer is simple, if you don't agree with me, then you are obviously an idiot, don't contact me as I do not talk with idiots. I'm giving nothing away at this site except good advice, if you want another hand out, then go somewhere else.
